No if's about it - and I'm not big on cocktail sauce.
Here you go, give it a shot - there's nothing to it...

Chemicals? Exactly what kind of things are you burning in that fireplace? (Is your neighborhood overrun by giggling pigeons with the munchies?)

By the way, is it bad to yell Fire in a crowded forum?

And the chemicals must have done wonders with the air you're breathing
Certain kinds of glitter are cool because they pop when you throw them in.
that's the magnesium that makes them do that...magnesium will flash..and applying water to a magnesium fire only makes it worse..
and probably minute amounts of magnesium in the wrapping paper also, that makes it glow

I don't know what's funnier - the image that you just drew for my sanity challenged mentalness, or the fact that you posted that at 7:45 am!

I don't know if I would do this in a fireplace at home, but on a camping trip a couple years ago, my uncle made some interesting campfire colors using old garden hose stuffed inside short sections of old copper pipe.

But stoner pigeons that get up early and go to McDonald's for the senior citizen discount is the funniest thing I've ever seen.
