ok, I tried it and it worked for 1 out of 4 songs. It was correct on Born in the USA, but not Margaritaville, Happy Days Are Here Again, or Jessie's Girl

My tapping failed to elicit the correct responses to:
Margaritaville
Won't Get Fooled Again
Box of Rain
Volcano
It did manage to offer - midway down the list - the correct response to:
Blister in the Sun
But it absolutely nailed:
Freebird
Go figure!

Maybe your rythm impaired.
I tapped the chorus for Margaritaville and it was the first result.

That's me, and yes it is (frikkin freaky).
I did "Jingle Bells" as a test and nailed it.
Tried doing "Margaritaville" from the beginning thru the first chorus. Missed by a mile ..... and some very peculiar results including "Carol of the Bells" (ding, fries are done).
Doing just the chorus of "Margaritaville" nailed it. (of course, Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb" and Elton John's "Tiny Dancer" were listed 2nd & 3rd)

Are you just supposed to do the entire chorus or the entire song?

No. You're alphabet. Don't try and confuse the situation by changing your name now. (In other words, don't be like that Muppet schmuck who goes by Pepe, Mings, or Tim.) (Ahh, what the heck - go ahead.)
this is frikkin freaky
