My sources which are pretty accurate puts him at shoreline April 18, Verizon Wireless in Irvine on the 20th and 22nd, Cricket pavillion in Phoenix,Az on the 25th and Smirnoff in Dallas on the 27th. I have been told that these are confirmed Dates. I hope this helps for planning.
Until they get posted on Margaritaville's "Tour Dates" page, take them with a grain of salt. Remember, folks were booking rooms and looking into flights for Tampa on the 15th of April based on rumours of a concert there.
But sometimes even the Tour Dates page isn't a guarantee. I think it was 3 years ago (it had to be an odd numbered year) there was a Jones Beach date posted on the Tour Dates page. About a week later it was gone and he didn't play the beach that year.
I hear you, I'm just saying that if I was going to bet the shop check, I'd be more inclined to put my money on their info. They seem to be better-wired on that particular topic... :D

Am I the only midwesterner checking this thread? Where's the public outcry? Where are our dates? Another summer without Jimmy? I can't handle it. Wrigley in September was cool, but it wasn't the real Buffett experience. I need lawn seats at Alpine. Any word on us poor cold folks?

I'm not so sure about Mohegan Sun. I'd bet he'd play Jones Beach over
Mohegan. I heard from phriends that the acoustics were pretty bad. They could manange the words during the songs because they knew the songs, but they couldn't hear Jimmy talking between songs. If I remeber correctly, from what other BN'rs @ the show said, it was hit or miss with acoustics. I also heard that Jimmy agreed with this in thinking the acoustics were not good either. Jones Beach aren't all that great either, but they're decent enough that you can hear what he is saying.

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

Shoreline will be a little Chilly in April..
amen. he did this a few years ago. you would think that jimmy would have vowed never to play shoreline in april again.

I have a feeling us midwesterners will not get any dates until ater he takes his summer off which leaves concerts in September.

It would be nice if he did Mohegan Sun, Jones Beach and two Great Woods shows :D As a venue Jones Beach is great, for tailgating it is so so.
