oh, and since the Nevilles won't be the closing act . . it only makes sense it will be Jimmy . . on Sunday . . to blow it all out . . .
. .should be amazing . . like someone said re: his last appearance . .
Easily 70,000 peeps . . .really does get to be shoulder-to-shoulder. . .
that's the only part I dread. . .last time we opted for the far side of the side stage . . . no way to " see " him . . but at least I could breathe. . ! !

Dont you think Fats Domino will close on Sunday? That makes more sense to me. They could play at the same time then that would s*** cause I want to see Fats and Jimmy. Rats!

We're supposed to leave Sunday too. Like you said before, in the past he would usually play the last Saturday night. I guess we'll see.

I've got my hotel booked for Friday-Monday. Haven't booked a flight yet cause we're still not 100% sure that any of this is in our budget.

ok you guys, this web site has Sonny Landreth playing at Margaritaville on Friday night. So if Jimmy is going to show up there that might be a good night. I want to see Sonny any way seeing as he is playing the first weekend this works out great. Check out this site. He puts up the grids for all the clubs in NO during the Fest. Its www.jazzfestgrids.com it has some good info on the jazz fest.

I just happen to be staying with my friend who lives in NO! She's an old pro as far as Jazz Fest. This will be my first, I cant wait!!!
