The CBC (Canada's public broadcaster) played a track this morning. Seemed like good kid music, perky, not dumb... I always like the JJ tracks RM plays, so I guess I'm a fan, sort of.

Saw JJ play with G Love and Donavan Frankenreitter in Philly 2 summers ago. He is very Mellow on stage and on his CD's. But I think that's what I like about him....so laid back....you can tell he was a surfer....anyway...I'm gonna buy the new CD for my collection...

Oddly enough, I like Jack Johnson but don't like Dave Matthews.... Weird, I know.....

I love Jack! My kids turned me onto him and at first I thought.... oh no, not another one of that kind of music (they like hard rock). Now, I'm the one telling them when his new CD comes out.

Yes, it's mellow, and what's wrong with that???? Where I live, it fits right in.

me thinks, we are going to see this guy grow more and more.

I own like 400 CD's and half of them, Matt (my guy) can't stand or doesn't know....I don't care if he likes them or not...i'm gonna play who I want to hear.....

DMB is awesome live BTW!

So....the CD is great! It sounds like all his other stuff and you wouldn't even know it was done for a children's movie if not for the 3 songs with the kids singing in them. I love it!

So, I've been away for quite a while and I decided to look back on some of the older discussions that I posted in. I found this comment from 2004 pertaining to my dislike for Jack Johnson.


Since that time, I've done a complete 180 on the guy. Jack Johnson is fantastic!!
