Jimmy Buffett is among the film's producers. Shriner said Buffett is currently in Los Angeles completing the movie's score. The soundtrack will include a new Buffett song entitled "Good Guys Win."

Too cool, the poster for Hoot is at some of the bus stops in Napa.

Of course it is... there are posters in LOTS of the bus stops here in Orange County CA. It's a family film... JB said it himself last night "Good Family Entertainment". What we didn't realize was it's based on a Carl Hiassen book... he writes great mysteries for adults, lives in FL. Didn't know he wrote an {award winning, no less] kids' book. But where 'zactly is Boca Grande?

I get to celebrate Cinqo-de-Mayo by seeing "Hoot" then having a Cactus Margarita at the Cancun Restaurant.
(I don't even care if the server is illegal or not-as long as the margarita tastes good, like it usually does).

A lot of the busses in SF and San Jose have the HOOT banners too
