nah. My crib is too rad to leave.

We are far too suburban to get any big wildlife, though we have a family of raccoons that eat the catfood we leave out by the front door. The squirrels on the birdfeeders out back are usually pretty entertaining.

We have a pond behind the house that usually has ducks and egrets, and a blue heron visits pretty frequently. Occasionally some ospreys will come by to eat, and on several occasions we have had bald eagles in the big pine by the pond (The county south of us supposedly has the largest concentration of bald eagles in the lower 48 states)

Wild Turkeys are fun to watch. You have fox, how cool. They are beautiful. Goat and sheep, Sy you have it all. I bet you love where you live.
:o If only I could just live with the animals around me and ditch all the people, I'd be pretty good, then :)
Can I ever agree with that one..pretty close to it down here in the wilds of S/E Georgia..I much prefer flora and fauna to homo sapien as neighbors..

I saw a few hen turkeys and a tom just the other day...he was all fanned out..struttin' his stuff for the ladies..

white tail deer should not have dropped any offspring yet..(in OK that is...) it's mating season right now..(in OK...that is), I'm not sure about Georgia, or any other state, for that matter.....possibly a single survivor of twins, or just a runt...

:) I never realized how big that owl was until he took off one morning and he was perched on my mailbox. It was amazing.

We have lots of critters that I catch running around the backyard...wild turkeys (which are just funny to watch), and a bunch of foxes from time to time.

And occasionally, some of the livestock gets loose from the farm that's beyond the woods behind me. Twice, I found thegoatgod eating the one shrub by my basement door, and a couple of sheep. That's always interesting to walk out on

I hate deer!

And I told you i was sorry about the shrub, me and my friends had been drinking, and we coulda sworn it was the marshmellow bush from the willy wonka movie gah your never gonna let me live that one down are you?

Have seen deer in the yard numerous times one big buck swam the river one day.Used to try and have a garden but the deer would eat the peas and corn.
Haven't actually seen any owls as of late, they come and go and yep some of them suckers are BIG. What is wild in the evening er have what Mom named "laughing owls". You know why soon as you hear them. I don't know if they got in somebody's "shroom patch" or if that might be mating calls or what. I usually see Turkey Buzzards riding thermals.
HAve had wild turkeys in the yard once or twice and even some wild geese. Once, some of my neighbor's cows came for a visit.

Have caught a wild piglet in the yard and raised it for a while. Until I got Col Bud, there was a colony of grey foxes that hung around for awhile.
Have many numerous varieties of wild birds from sparrows to woodpeckers ( have at least two kinds of woodpeckers red-brested and the pileated) waiting on the robins this year to come strip the holly tree like they do every year. Occasionally see bats of some sort flying around.
Have the usual assortment od armadillos, opposums, and raccoons. Summer time there are numerous varieties of snakes. I saw an Indigo out here once and not sure where it went. They are highly protected and VERY BIG! They are good to have around the place.

In the river, are the usual alligators, turtles, and snakes. Occasionally will see a dolpnin or two and really get lucky and see manatees. You can see various wading birds, herons of various kinds up to the Great Blue, egrets, maybe woodstorks and sandpipers, etc. you can see Kingfishers reguarly. Ospreys and Bald Eagles come and go. There are swifts that come by in the afternoons along the river. Depending on the weather large flocks of seagulls but they never come near.

Nomal morings I usaully see the cats, the dogs, General Lee, and Snake and some VERY SCARY when I get up and look in the mirror...If I look out the window, it just varies as to what I will see out there.
Roll with the punches, play all of your hunches...come what may...

Bambi hasn't forgotten. He's even making Bambi II out of it where he's out for revenge against the goats.
