It may simple be about Karma. Maybe too many people are afraid if the Cubs win the World Series, it could be the beginning of the Apocalypse. You wouldn’t want to be responsible for the Earth to leave its axis and be sucked into the Sun would you?

That 1998 Yankees was probably one of the best teams ever. The 1954 Indians and the 2001 Mariners weren't even close.

Yes I am a Sox fan but I have said for a long time that '98 team was great.
And for the record the team to beat the Yankees the most that season? The Red Sox, they went 9-10 vs. NY
