Las Brisas in Laguna should be a requirement for folks coming from out of town.
The food isn't all that great, and it is a bit pricey. However, it is open seating on the patio, and they have great margaritas and guacamole. My girlfriend and I go every few weeks to just take in the sunset with cocktails.
Even if you don't eat there, it is worth checking out and getting some photos for new comptuter backgrounds! There is a unique restaurant across the street called "Madison's" where you eat outside in a garden atmosphere.
Here are some additional photos from Las Brisas.

Going to see Hoot tonight as a warmup and than I think a weekend of drankin' is in order to prepare the liver for next Thursday and Saturday!!!
So anyone else besides Booze, FunBob, & ladyparrothead staying at the Comfort Inn? We really should meet up somewhere and plan to carpool to the venue....save about a $20 parking fee and make sure we don't miss each other in the zoo which will take place in the parking lot!!!
BTW....where's everyone sitting?
I'm in Loge 6 Row EE for Thursday and Loge 4 Row BB for Saturday.....although I hope to end up in orchestra both days!
See ya'all next week!!!!
Crap....guess I need to switch my tickets....

This shouldn't need to be prompted....a concert should bring this out automatically!

Oh, and I know Las Brisas gets crowded on Friday nights, but that little pilot birdie friend has a connection there....so maybe there is a way we can get a table reserved or something. I will ask.

Wow! Not bad for a three year old camera phone!!
Like I told Kath (BEG) I will go to Las Brisas early on Friday, 3-ish, and start drin...er, hold some tables on the deck if we arrange a phlocking there. IMHO it is probably one of the best places for everyone to meet. It is 15-20 minutes driving time from the hotels, the margaritas are great, the appetizers are pretty good and it is typical "So Cal-OC". The setting is typical Buffett...Margaritas, Palm Trees, The Ocean, The Sunset behind The Palm Trees into The Ocean and Great Company!
Heck...If everyone agrees, I'll go down there NOW and hold the tables...

Oh...and did I mention, I'm on a first name basis with the waitresses on the deck

I'm not real sure that's something to be proud of...
