OK, sounds like Las Brisas is the place to be Friday! Vince, Bill and I can probably come down about then and help you hold tables I think I still have your cell #.

Getting ready with the other stuff too. Going to be making lots of shotz this week

I never used to wear flip flops...I finally found a few pair that were comfy enough for me...looks like I will be buying a pair of those socks that are like gloves with the toes in them so I can still wear the flip flops.... Should be interesting!!!

I'll be bringing flip flops and sneakers...I always do. Given the recent reinjuring of my foot, I may have to wear a brace.

Hmmmm...gonna be interesting figuring out what to wear since I'll be leaving straight from work to go the airport then going straight from the airport to Las Brisas I assume. Do they have heaters on that deck?

Yep. Used to have a fire pit too but they took that out to make room for more seats.

Oh man, a firepit would have been great...but those heaters work pretty darn well, at least at all the places I've been that have them.

I'm trying to organize what I need to bring. I found my lanyard, now I need to narrow down my bead selections...

Hello all. I am just tuning in to the 4/20 Irvine thread...anybody live close by? What's the weather been like in the evenings? Shorts and flip flops? A t-shirt and a hawaiian shirt? When will the tailgating begin? I've never been to Irvine, I hear the parties are legendary!

I live here and it's lookin' more like jeans and sweat shirts at the beach. Thursday should be OK but it cools down at night so definitley bring something warm for after the sun goes down.

Join us at Las Brisas in Laguna Beach on Friday afternoon/evening. We're getting together for 'ritas and fun and the view on the patio.

Can someone post directions on how to get there from Irvine? Although I lived in CA for 6 years, I've never heard of this place before (but it sounds like an awesome place for happy hour!)

I'm flying into LAX. And i figured that I could work half a day on friday, leave for the airport, and with the time difference still get in in time to go out and stuff. Oh well. Such is life. Plus my buddy who's picking me up is driving down from Sacramento and he has some business apts to get to so 9:30 worked well for both of us. Oh well.

Next time I'll plan ahead. I did this in Vegas too. One would think I'd learn!

You've got quite a haul from LAX to OC. And your friend has quite a drive...6-7 hours, easy. That's why I decided to fly out of Sacto so I could leave work about an hour early and get to OC at a decent hour.

Do you at least have a direct flight?

It's hard to get a direct flight from Hartford to LAX. I have the next best thing. One stop and I don't even have to get off the plane, but I will. And I will find a bar.
I'm leaving work 2ish hours early. My flight is at 5. Stop over in Baltimore, then off to LAX. I am gonna keep an eye on an earlier flight into Orange County and if the prices go down (i won't hold my breath), i'll see if i can convince someone to come pick me up and bring me to the bar, and then convince my friend to pick my drunk ass up from the bar. Hahahah....

I'm getting sooo excited!!!!

Does anyone else have a tendency to overpack when traveling to see Buffett? I feel like I want to pack everything in my closet....
