It would be great if you could make it Larry and I've got an extra ticket if you need it (although I think there are still non-lawn seats available from TicketMaster)

I drive I-5 all the time. Usually 75 is no big deal. Watch out for CHP's in Woodland. In-and Out Burgers in Redding if you need a great cheeseburger fix.

I think it was above Redding and I do not remember the speed
BUT the Unnamed Bner might be able to fill us in
also the rig had Oregon tags..

Isn't I-5 posted 70MPH anyway? +5 over isn't really a big deal. It used to be awsome when the CA freeways were 55 and I-5 was 65!
Funny story. When I was still living at home I drove my new Red '88 Civic to L.A. from San Francisco. My dad told me to call when I was halfway to L.A. I called from some rest stop half way there and it didn't take my dad long to do the math to figure out how fast I'd been driving.
(BTW got it up to 115MPH)

I'm pleading the 5th

but yes....it was near lake Shasta and that un-named BNer was cited for going like 83 in a 65.

Hey! I, err, I mean
"they" were all excited about seeing Buffett, loaded up on good coffee, blastin' Buffett in a rental (which actually had Nevada plates BTW)......that cop apparently didn't "get it".

DUH!! Sorry about that. The speed limit drops to 55 through Lake Shasta and the place is crawling with CHPs. Take it easy and enjoy the views through there.

Hey, JEN!!! You learn so much here on these ole pages of BN..... I didn't know that you got.... I mean....errrr.... there's this rumor that you were given a speeding ticket?????!!!!!!
As I remember, I volunteered to pick you up on my way down and you declined!!!!! ahahahahah I am laughing out loud....(but, in a good way!!!)
So, it's settled.... I AM MOST definately picking you up and Cliff is joining us on the I-5 CONGA LINE!!!
Let's go onto another subject.....
Who wants to chip in on getting a ticket for slut-boy, 4-play palm, to party with us?????
I think he may be staying with Jen (she has had a thing with all of the rest of his family...) but his ticket is $50.00..... I will be the first to pledge $10.00..... We, good girl BN'ers, love Bad Boy Palm Trees.
I have nothing really to say today, just trying to get this thread back on top.
conga line!
