Wet weather camping was definitely a motiviator in getting the van.I don't know the specs on the syncro. My van does not have a heater or built in toilet.
Ticket Master on available premium parking, and it appears nothing is available. Shoreline referred me directly to them. Oh well...thanks for the offer though.
What are the plans with the cell #'s?
For those of us in lawn area, Shoreline told me there is a 6" height restriction, so that limits us to beach chairs. We plan on laying down a tarp and the chairs, mainly to "mark our territory". We all know how that ends up though...

Don't get me wrong, I like camping but that Vanagon is a pretty sweet vehicle! I'm glad to hear that it doesn't have a toilet, kinda of a small space (and lack of privacy) for that kind of equipment.
As far as the cell phone list is concerned I will PM the list to those who PMed me thier cell phone #. I'll do this in a few days before the show (to give the stragglers a chance

)

Who else received this e-mail subject today: Event Reminder: Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band?!?!?!? --like I could possibly forget?
I joined ticketmaster to make buying tickets quicker, and for the 'coming to my town' alerts. It's nice that they give me a laugh with e-mails like these.
They also included a map of the venue location. Very nice of them to remind me with 2 weeks to go.

I like when you click on the link for "hassle free parking" (Premium Parking) there are none available.
I found this part of the email interesting:
This is a Family Zone event!
An area on the lawn has been designated for family and friends who would like to enjoy the concert in a smoke and alcohol free environment. Space is limited, access is first come, first served. Look for signs and directions when you arrive at the event.
I wonder what part of the lawn this will be?

Habourgirl .... if we can't make the sun shine, then definitely bring it with you! Spent the weekend in warm, sunny SoCal, and now I'm back in the rain. I'll be on Prozac soon if this keeps up.

Heck, if the weather doesn't get better in NorCal, then I can bring some nice weather with me from Colorado. Yesterday I went for my daily walk in the calm breeze of the 70's.
Though someone just hollored over the wall that it's cold out there today, I know we were set to reach the 60's as a high today. But I hear there's wind too. But it's to be back to the 70's, maybe 80's after that.
Sometimes I wonder why I live in Colorado, then I remember that my family is here. My office is 5 minutes from home, that the local college does, yes drive up prices in town, but it also brings in many cool people.
Then I recall the 300 days of sunshine we get each year. And that even when there is snow on the ground, it won't last forever and it may by sunny that afternoon.
Now, if only I could get Jimmy to come here every year????

SHHHHHHHHH!! 300 days of sun shine? You'll be responsible for all of us from California selling our highly inflated homes and moving to Colorado and driving up the prices of your homes. Good thing you didn't mention anything about the Rocky Mountains, world class fly fishing, a great down town Denver, world class food and brew pubs, The Rockies, Nuggets, Aves, the Broncos.....time to put the house on the market!
