I've heard that one of these parrotheads will be there.
We'll have a pool. Would a wet T-shirt contest be too risque?
Heck yes-and needed!. I am not sure why would curtail anything due to children since this was not advertised as a keet event. It should be the parents job to keep their children away from the risque stuff instead of the tailgate bend to their desire. Remind them of their tailgates pre-keets. I am not sure about the rest of you, but Buffett and the whole tailgate is based on naughty behavior (not vulgar) and over indulgence in all things bad. I would hate to see the "flavor" curtailed because we have to bend to children- not what I signed on for. JMO

We curtailed the vibrator races and cherry popping ceremonies because there will be kids present, but this is still a Buffett Tailgate. People will be drinking and I'm pretty sure there will be cursing. There will probably be some boobs flashing.

Everyone needs to understand that bringing kids is "At your own risk / judgment".
Ditto that.

(To the tune of "Cuban Crime of Passion":
....anejo and boobs a flashin'....) :wench:
Of course, I have to be SOMEWHAT modest, since my brother will be with me!
Say it isn't so Auntie. I say we still have the vibrator races since we almost all wanted them anyways. Before the event we can warn the PHolks with keets so they can take them for a tour around the parking lot. On the same note I hope they are not going to complain about the drinking, smoking, I am sure some curse words will be said, and general adult naughtiness at an adult party.

I don't mean to sound like I am beating a dead horse here but I am a little concerned since it looks like we are already bending what we do at tailgates since some children are going to be there. That is why I told all parents in my group that children were not encouraged and get a sitter or it was their job to keep their children away from behavior they deemed harmful (which I agree with at their age) and in addition making the adults who go feel uncomfortable about doing a big portion of the adult activities we do and most of us love about Buffett and tailgates.

How about we don't plan anything vulgar or obscene, but accept the fact that some things may just happen on their own...

Fair enough?
It was a pleasure and a hell of an evening
Truly was our night to win
But the authorities insist on my leaving

I am not talking about vulgar or obscene- just general adult, naughty, fun behavior not hindered by the concern (mine) of teaching children bad habits. I agree with you as well and think as well that it should be the parents job to protect their children instead having certain behavior or events stopped. IMO Buffet tailgates are an adult only event and maybe have a keet friendly zone as well so we can still have our fun.

I have a new phavorite place in Dallas. If you didn't know better and if there was sand on the ground, you'd think you were in Key West.

Thanks, PHritz01. I had a great time. Got home phine. Haven't told Mr. Mojito about the crash. It can wait until tomorrow, right? :D

I like the idea - but we'd have to tell them about the penalty up front. Maybe instead of the general quiz it's another type of voluntary contest - Winner gets something cool and loser has to wear a Hooter outfit.
If we got them in front of the Margaritavision crew they might make it on the big screen.

Molly: Mailboat came. THANK YOU.

A kid came into my lane and creased my bumper....at 70 mph on LBJ freeway. Blech. At least he stopped up the road a piece and we talked and then got off on Plano Road and I talked to his insurance agent.

A nice man stopped with us the first time and gave me his name and number and said he saw the kid hit me....that I didn't have anything to do with it.

GodBlessMercedesBenz and German engineering. Car handled like a dream.

No one was hurt. I was in the far left hand lane...*thinking* I was avoiding the jam over in the right hand lanes. :o

It's fixable, but I don't see how it will be done by HOOT ISLAND. We'll see. :(
