Tell them this is IMPORTANT. Tell 'em your Buffett Buddies need you to be in Dallas!
Tell them your Auntie's gonna come up there on her way to Dallas and kick their asses! (If I can drive to Dallas from Virginia by way of Chicago, I can sure as heck go to Dallas via Idaho!!!)
Oh, spew! Alison, you're on a roll today, huh?

(No comments from Zero about baked goods, please.) :D
I am pheeling quite sassy today, now that you mention it. Must be from the mimosas at bruch today. :wench:

Spainjane doesn't recommend the place where they got their RV - they had problems with the deposit etc.
She did send me this website though;
http://www.hallmotorhomerental.com

Definitely more expensive, but they've got some really nice stuff.
40 people @$30 = $1,200...
It was a pleasure and a hell of an evening
Truly was our night to win
But the authorities insist on my leaving
Take care my American friend

I was tyring to think of something like "it's for snack item, for when you don't have time to eat a whole serving of bruchetta..."
doesn't that depend on who's making the bruschetta? :D

Here's the list for the RV so far.
If you're not on the list and you're willing to help out, post in the thread or send me a PM to keep it anonymous.
I'm targeting $30 per person, so if someone is coming with you then let me know that too.

East Texas Parrothead + 1.....$60
Four Play & Mrs. Play.............$60
headparrot & scubabarb.........$60
maggiemay56.......................$30
phjrsaunt.............................$30
txaggirl91.............................$60
Total..................................$300

ETP - Let me know how you want to receive the money and I'll get ours to you tomorrow.
Everyone else should get their money to ETP up front too, so she isn't coming out of pocket for this.

Thanks, FourPlay! You're the best!

PMing my address to you.

The rest of you can PM and I'll send my address. Just mail me a check!

I'll be checking our options tomorrow. Will post the results soon!

I'm sure we'll be adding others to this list! My keet's coming from New Mexico, so I changed my total and MaggieMay56 wanted in on the RV. They're coming from Oklahoma, I think! :D

OK - Food...

I'll do a lowcountry boil for the main course. There are different versions but I use new potatoes, sausage, corn on the cob, shrimp, and crab legs. It makes a pretty good feast but I need to know how many to plan for.
So, who likes seafood?

ETP offered to do finger foods and desserts.
Also mojitos with mints from her garden.

For non-seafood eaters, the Lonestar PHC usually brings a huge cooker and sells cheeseburgers for $5.
