They finally caught the sadistic pig who killed this 10 month old puppy but he is now out on $250.00 bail. I won't post the details of what he did because it is sick. be sent to Dallas County District Attorney Bill Hill to ask that Mercy's
killer be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Prosecution against
animal abuse is improving, but hopefully the laws against animal cruelty
will get tougher and have an impact on preventing future crimes.

Even though Mercy's cold-hearted killer has been found; it's more
important now than ever to please sign and crosspost this petition-so the
Prosecuter and all those involved with this case on the "legal end" will
know that the public insists on the penalty fitting the crime when it
comes to such horrendous acts of animal torture, abuse and neglect.
Mercy suffered horribly at the hands of a man. A "man" who deserves to be
punished to the fullest extent of the law...our laws against abuse such as
this needs to be tougher, and this case could very well be one that sets a
precedent to this end; if enough people speak up. There has been entirely
too many incidences of cats and dogs abused, neglected and tortured-this
needs to stop.
Let's get some justice for Mercy-she was innocent, and paid the ultimate
price for that innocence because she was "just a dog "- Let's not let her
painful torture and death be in vain.
Please sign-in memory of Mercy..in memory of all those abused and killed
before her (and all those who will be after her) and then send this far
and wide so that maybe, just maybe; when the abusers realize they'll no
longer get a small "slap on the wrist", they might think twice.
