Connie, my scepter is my MOST FAVORITE thing in the WORLD. I love it more than anything. If I get a minute or so, I'll make a top ten list of why a High Priestess' scepter is better than a husband :lol:

Well first of all,
my scepter is very sparkly.
my scepter requires no action from me.
my scepter does not create dirty laundry.
my scepter does not even have feet, so it cannot leave socks laying around the house.
my scepter lives to make me happy.

....but that's just off the top of my head, mind you :wink:

(I love my husband very much. I just don't care for most people who are not from Hoot Island today) :lol:

If I've got the math right - cause math does stink

FPLAY OOP $200.20
ETP OOP $714.78
Phritz OOP $1269.36
Total in the hole $2184.34?! :o

292 Wristbands :o :o

Knew it was a heck of a party - and it amazes me how few people I met :cry:

Let me know who to send some additional funds to - with all your hard work, etc. ya'll don't need to carry the load :wench:

I remember meeting PHritz 2 years ago at the Texas Stadium Show as I was running around with the video camera. He stood in front of the camera really stiff with a Corona in his hand. I had to remind him that this was a video camera, not a still camera and he reluctantly wiggled a little (captured in time during his spot on the video).

Flash forward two years and the guy is doing pole dances on top of the hot tub...LOL!!!
Thats what I was thinking... :wink:

I've heard about Dodgeball .... hmmmm.
Where is Coppell?
Maybe we could get JB to simulcast a concert from there ....
Something like this might be better, especially if it's a big phlocking. Easier access, closer to hotels, and we won't be invading somebody's house.

Their website looks pretty cool;
http://www.yucatanbeachclub.com/home.shtml

Obzeets might be another option in Plano, and Sneaky Pete's is pretty cool;
http://www.sneakypetesonline.com/

Kojak - can you get some info from Yucatan on what it would take to book a party for one of the Saturday concert dates? Once we know if it's feasible, I may contact RM about doing a simulcast...

I came pretty close to my budget, so I'm not worried about my out of pocket. I'd like to get ETP and PHritz closer to their actuals, so I sent each of you their addresses. Thanks for anything you can do to help!

If we moved the RV's in the front all the way into the parking spaces along the fence, that would open up a ton of room on the pavement for hanging out.
Moving ETP's RV back a few spaces and roping some off would give room for the hot tub on the pavement beside it.
I thought the portapotties, kegs, margarita machine and cooking area were ok where they were. We needed way more tables over there.
Roping off from where the trailer was over to ETP's RV might cut down on outside traffic coming into the food area without wristbands.

Any other ideas about how to improve the physical setup and traffic flow?

Ok time for a mini-Hoot reunion. Friday night to celebrate the release of Hoot and Cinco De Mayo. We can see the movie at Studio Movie Grill in Plano and then just walk over to the Blue Goose. They are closing the parking lot down-fenced in- for a party. Who is in? If need be due to time constraints we can just go to the Blue Goose party.

A respectful question for the mods...shouldn't posts like this be in the Social area and not in the pre concert thread??? :-?

It just seems that this thread has grown beyond the preconcert gathering and into a social thread. Just MHO. :lol: 8)
