This is my dilemma. I actually have 2 sets of tickets for this concert and will be giving one of the sets to my brother and his girlfriend. But I have no idea which to give him!
One set is on the lawn. I figure I will get more of the true Buffett experience there. The other set is in section 202, pretty far back. But still, expensive reserved seats.
WWJBD?
hi.
well in my UNexperienced oppinion, keep the lawn. thats where the party is at
on the other hand...hubby and i are in 202, far back. im hoping thats a good experience too
I thought THE PARTY is at Hoot Island - before the show!
Keep the 202 seats, go to THE PARTY, and then go see Jimmy!
i said the party, not THE PARTY

That won't ever happen again.
You may now return to Hoot Isle planning ;}

How to build a phin. Cut the body of the phin out of 3/4 " Plywood. Use 1- 2" X 4" runner on each side od phin base (bottom) with 2" side resting on ground- lag bolt at each end and in middle. Cut 2 lengts of 2" X 4" to fit width of truck where phin will sit. Screw into runner with 3" + screws (2" resting on truck bed). Place eye bolts in plywood approx 3/4 of the way to top of phin on each side and secure with a thick wire in front and back of bed rails- 2 on each side going front and back.

depends on how old you are, and how well you tolerate being bumped, jostled, and spilled on. Personally, since I am almost ancient, I'd take the pavillion seats. you can always talk with the folks around you between songs, and you might be surprised who you meet.

Experience is what ya get when ya don't get what ya wanted.
so true

I thought experience was what you get when something doesn't go quite as planned..

but what do we need for the record right now in the stats? 3 pages a day or so?

Are you saying we need to cut back to only 27 posts a day? That's gonna be hard!

well, we might as well work on getting a bit of a cushion. By the 27th, some of us will be on the wing and slacking on the post count.

Wow, the pressure! How are we gonna come up with 27 posts today, let alone that many later this month?
