Good news, Bad news...

Good news - my vacation request was approved, so I'm off all day Thursday and Friday. :)

Bad news - due to the ice day my wife's school is having their field day on the 28th. She'll probably work half a day on Friday and take the boys to her mom's around noon. :-?

So, what would have happened if your vacation request hadn't been approved?

I would've had to work half-days. My sick/vacation days are wiped out since I had to take off 3 weeks around Christmas.

This is my dilemma. I actually have 2 sets of tickets for this concert and will be giving one of the sets to my brother and his girlfriend. But I have no idea which to give him!

One set is on the lawn. I figure I will get more of the true Buffett experience there. The other set is in section 202, pretty far back. But still, expensive reserved seats.

WWJBD?
depends on how old you are, and how well you tolerate being bumped, jostled, and spilled on. Personally, since I am almost ancient, I'd take the pavillion seats. you can always talk with the folks around you between songs, and you might be surprised who you meet.
He is right it all depends on your prespective, as for us we would never be anywhere else but the lawn seats, (spread you blanket, relax and take it all in) to us it is more like a good old fashioned concert when they had them in a field v. a regular concert. Cant' recall being bumped or spilled on :D but truly laid back and relax and enjoying the music of the islands
