This is my dilemma. I actually have 2 sets of tickets for this concert and will be giving one of the sets to my brother and his girlfriend. But I have no idea which to give him!

One set is on the lawn. I figure I will get more of the true Buffett experience there. The other set is in section 202, pretty far back. But still, expensive reserved seats.

WWJBD?
depends on how old you are, and how well you tolerate being bumped, jostled, and spilled on. Personally, since I am almost ancient, I'd take the pavillion seats. you can always talk with the folks around you between songs, and you might be surprised who you meet.
He is right it all depends on your prespective, as for us we would never be anywhere else but the lawn seats, (spread you blanket, relax and take it all in) to us it is more like a good old fashioned concert when they had them in a field v. a regular concert. Cant' recall being bumped or spilled on :D but truly laid back and relax and enjoying the music of the islands

The closest one I can find is about a half-mile away as the crow flies. It's a laundromat called Bar of Soap.
This is outside my area of expertise, and I don't know what it would take to pull it off.
Their number is 214-823-6617 if you want to call them.

Hey FP...what site did you get that map from? I have been to MAPQUEST and printed the directions from the Fairfield to the concert but the actual map it prints off is not detailed at all? Do you know where I could go to get one that would enable me to highlight the "trail to the tailgate?"
How many other people out there are staying at the Fairfield Inn and Suites??? We are hoping to check in early...if not, we will just drive in directly to the concert and get ready in the truck!!!!

obviously you've never met a red-head. You might want to limit your search for that quality to blond and dark-haired guys. :D

Have not. the lawn experience of "just putting a blanket down and enjoying the show" has not been part of the equation at Alpine or Cinci. (the indoor shows obviously don't count).

Not saying that Dallas doesn't have the mellow vibe, but the lawn has been a zoo everywhere I've been.

Some folks will really enjoy the lawn. I enjoy the lawn in lots of places, but Dallas is a little wild for me and NOT your relaxing type experience during Buffett shows.

It all depends on lots of circumstances I guess, but I'd go for seats.
