Sounds like Atlanta 2003... quit raining about 10 minutes before the show.

To all the pseudo-locals and those driving, remember that the venue IS allowing umbrellas. Feel free to bring them. Everytime I carry mine around, the rain stays away!!!

we still carry the magic Alpine ponchos. Only been rained on once at a tailgate since (I forgot to bring them to Philly, and last year's showers at GW hardly count as rain) and never at a show....

Seriously... lets not talk weather till tomorrow.

I'm watching closely and from what I'm able to tell, the worst of it isn't suppost to hit till LATE Friday.
That doesn't mean we won't have showers...
In Dallas all things are subject to prairie winds.... that's why it changes by the hour.

I've lived here all my life (except when I lived in Florida  ), the weathermen here catch hell, but the Prairie is Queen.

This site will give hourly forcasts for FRIDAY starting tomorrow:
DFW Weather
In the 5-day forecast box click on tomorrow (but not till Thursday) and it will give you a detailed forecast.
Not to mention the video that the WEATHER GIRL  in the box will update at least 3x's daily for you!

Could someone please tell me if there is anything I need to know from the last ten or so pages? Thanks, I greatly appreciate it! I'll check in a couple of more times today but then won't be back on again until after the concert!!!!
Bill ask people to bring a couple bags of "clean ice"...I guess there was a problem with 'dirty ice'...;) that may have actually been more thatn 10 pages ago...<sorry>
Clean ice should not be a problem. I'm picking up 300 lbs from an ice distributor on my way into town. I should arrive at Hoot Island between 11 and 12! Hopefully closer to the 11-ish side of it. If you're bringing a personal cooler or will arrive long before I get there, then yes, grab a bag of ice on your way.

Damn. Image

I have had TWO boat drinks this afternoon, and my 19 y/o DESIGNATED DRIVER daughter is getting ready for work and is no doubt SICK of hearing me talk about this show (I've been obsessed since 1973 :o )

.... but I am so THRILLED that my WHOLE family will be at this show, I digress...

....anyway, we are planning on doing something special tomorrow together to get ready for the concert, and.... as I was going on..and on.. and on... about it... she finally said.... "I'd like to get ready for work now...."

Image

....I am just WAY too excited for this show.
