Just wanted to ask:

I know it's too late for bracelets and the like, but I wanted to make a "donation" for all the party preparations that have been made. The hard work you all have put in hasn't been cheap, in time or money. If all the expenses have been covered, you can donate it with whatever else you have to charity.

BTW, if you say no, you're gonna find an anonymous envelope when you start unpacking Saturday.

I'm fast running out of time here. So much to do yet :o

Is it going to be warm enough to wear shorts? I was just switching the stuff in my suitcase for colder weather :-?

Of course I'm used to the weather going colder than predicted rather than warmer......

Oh what the heck...I'll stuff the carryon and take some of each

Hi Nancy!
I have no idea...we had a cold front blow through last night and I don't think it got to the 70's in Houston.
I'm going to take jeans and shorts...just in case.

We'll have a jar for extra donations. They are greatly appreciated but not required. :)
It was a pleasure and a hell of an evening
Truly was our night to win

Wanna meet some pretty cool people and have some pretty entertaining conversations? Go to your nearest Sam's Club and spend $600 on beer and cheeseburgers during your lunch break.

I hope y'all are ready for a party :pirate:

LOLOLOLOLOL!

Yeah..I bet that brought 'em out of the wood work...

I tried to talk the manager at Winn Dixie in to giving me the Corona Shirt on the mannequin in the store...."Parrothead Party People"....

He wouldn't do it....
You should've been with me and my 7 y/o at the liquor store today when we tried to talk the store manager out of their Corona display. :o

I was obviously the people our Parents warned us about. :o... as usual.

I tried the same thing and it was a no go also. I asked her what she was going to do with it and she said they would just "throw it out". I told her I'd be saving her all that work, but she wasn't buying it.

Got a big favor to ask of all you BNers of Hoot Island. I have a couple of friends inbound to the lot for the tailgate. A keet named Michael and his mom Christi. Michael, a huge parrothead has lymphoma and is usually homebound due to his counts being so low. The doctor has given him permission to hit the tailgate party :) He and his mom really need this trip out of the house to see other parrotheads. Here is his story and a picture: http://www.caringbridge.org/cb/inputSit ... haelfrench

Please watch for them and make them feel welcome when they visit the Island... I've been telling them what really great people you are :D

Michael will be hanging out with "Uncle" Ringling, so please say hello when you see them.

PHewww! What a day. All shopping is done and now it's time to kick back, relax, drink a Red Stripe or three and get ready for the PHun. @ months ago it felt like we would never be at this point...But WOOOO HOOOOO it is time. It will be great hanging with friends (esp. those I have never met before". Everyone have a safe trip and lets get ready to make tailgating history.
