That was a kickass party was it not?
It was a pleasure and a hell of an evening
Truly was our night to win
But the authorities insist on my leaving
Take care my American friend

Off to take back the generators, deconstruct Hoot Island, and clean up the mess. I'll probably be there until at least 10 or 11. Everyone's invited to come help! :)

It was a great time - even with all the rain!

Everyone - ya'll did a great job!! I figured the party would be over when the rain came - but nnooo not even the virgins backed down from the challenge! :P

The goodie bags were great - I know what CD I'll be listening to as I head back to the Land of OZ :)

I met some great people - and truly appreciated my first Jimmy Buffett experince!!! :P :P :P

Again - words can't express how much appreciation and wonderment of all the hard work, dedication, time, everything that went into pulling this thing off.

Thanks for letting us crash your party - :wench: :wench: :wench:

the morning after the day before . . .

Don't know where to begin . . .

The amount of imagination, planning and hard work put in by Mayor Bill & First Lady Terry (and so many others) is impossible to adequately thank. Definitely was an outrageous "You Had To Be There" bash. I'm thinking a few pictures might be showing up soon.

Unfortunately, Mrs. Frog has been fighting some spring-time allergies/respiratory crud and the phone call that nasty weather was coming thru the north TX area caused us to decide to bail at intermission. I really wanted to hang out for the after-concert party but maybe next-time . . .

Had so much phun i forgot to get my goody bag and cookbook i was supposed to get from ETP . . .

Once again, it was my own damn fault!

We're home! Fantastic party. Wow do those Texans know how to feed a hungry group of people! The food never quit. The low country boil, the bbq, the cheeseburgers, the sausage, the corn, the potatoes, the spinach dip, the to die for brownies, the crab legs, and all the to go withs that were everywhere.

Mr Meg and I had a great time and it was soooo wonderful to meet so many BNers!

Sorry we brougth rain to the tailgate :-? (it seems to be our specialty).

Michigan had lovely weather while we were gone. :D It was around 70 when we returned.

Thanks a TON to all the party planners and workers. So sorry we couldn't stay around for the clean up...
