Do any of you like any Buffett songs now that you never even really paid attention to for the longest? Songs that were almost always a "skipper" until you really listened?
A few years back it was "Love in Decline" and now it's one of my favorite Buffett songs.
Then after seeing him do "Changing Channels" in Tampa back in 04, I now love that song.
Today I re-discovered "Why The Things We Do".
I never paid much attention to it or skipped it but I'm liking it a lot.
I really like the message.

Changing Channels is a really cool song.
I seen Mac at the Variety Playhouse in Atlanta a few years back, and of course he played it. What a great show!

Yeah, I'm still not sure what the heck it's exactly about but the last verse reminds me of that movie "The Beach" where all of the people escaped the real world and moved to an island.
Great song!!!!

I used to skip over
Remittance Man because I thought it was depressing, being the black sheep, not being able to keep the girl, etc. Now it's one of my favorites I have playing in the car!

I would have to say Stories We Could Tell until I got the Live in Hawaii CD.
And more recently I Will Play for Gumbo. I have no clue why I never really like the song before, but now it is definitely up there.

Don't get me wrong, I've always liked the song, but thought it was just so sad because he was a loner....my favorite that I bonded with off that CD was
Why the Things We Do.

I skipped over several songs when I used to listen to cd's. Since I put the whole collection on my iPod I find myself discovering several songs that used to never be listened to. Most notably: African Friend, Dreamsicle, and The Night I Painted the Sky. They are now three of my favorite songs. All three are practically top ten for me now.

Putting them on an mp3 player and listening most of the day at work does the same for me. Especially with a good set of headphones

YEP! It seems about once a month I will hear a song and for some reason it fits the moment and becomes my favorite....until the next new favorite comes around!

Those are just a few that jump to mind, but there are plenty
