Looks like I will be doing Vegas and Key West back to back again this year - better go pencil in on my husband's vacation schedule and make sure he doesn't take too much time off to hunt (he didn't make it to Key West with me last year for this very reason).

If the Vegas rumors turn out to be true, I would think things aren't looking so good for Florida in the fall. With 2 Saturday dates in Vegas I can't see doing a couple of Florida shows, going to Vegas, back to Florida (or somewhere else in the southeast) and back to Vegas for another show. Personally, I'd rather see some Florida shows than back to back Saturdays in Vegas. But either way, this is a no complaint zone.

Actually Mike hunts the BookCliffs, Castle Country (Carbon and Emery County) - I don't have a clue about any of it (Red Cliffs would be more south right??) He puts in for WY, CO, Idaho, etc. He got a trophy antelope in WY, a While Tail in Kansas, and an ELK in the BookCliffs a couple years ago - they all hang on our wall - I am no fan of any of them - but that is life in a marriage - give andLightning Bolt wrote:Deer season in Utah will prolly be kickin' off that very weekend

Hmmmmmm, I would still think he would fit in some FL shows - he loves FL - maybe Sept after the Boston shows - or is he coming to MOTM? He mentioned he would have been there last year, but he was taking care of family dealing with the hurricanes, etc. Maybe he will continue to tour after MOTM and do more FL dates in Nov? I would think he will still hit FL. when does fall vegas dates typically go up?
Hey - when do the fall dates for Vegas go up? I called and have my rooms held at the Flamingo. Weekend rates (rack) are $160, weekday is $120-130. I booked last Saturday through to November 1. Might as well send Halloween in Vegas!
