You don't know anything about the Georgia Educational System... nor the report that was just issued today...
And you know even less about me than I know about Georgia so I would appreciate if you would stop assuming you know what I do or do not understand. That fact that I, or anyone else, disagrees with your opinion doesn't mean I, or anyone else, doesn't understand the issue.

THAT may very well be...but you still don't know anything about the Georgia Educational System..

personally...I don't want to know anything about you....
If the Georgia educational system produces people like Sam who equivocate [sic] killing animals with killing humans, there isn't much more I need to know about it.

Now I'm really gone.

I'm done here. Have fun not making sense.
Larry/Counselor,
All I did is point out the that clubbing baby seals was considered inhumane, at least by some. I did not turn this into a killing or exexcution topic YOU are the one that there was NO DIFFERENCE in killing and the results were the same....being Death.
Clearly you said several times you were talking about animals Humans are an animal.

So it is ok for there to be 8 pages about Jello??? or HEAVEN FORBID SPORTS???? SHEESH!!!

After all this is a Jimmy Buffet forum.... why would anyone want to talk about anything else in the Off Topic area? I mean apparently things like current events or save the manatee or snow leopards or baby seals or save the "bippy" are apprently not fitting subjects to discuss.

But it is apparently fine to have 8 pages about JELLO
Or to talk sports or Olympics or any other of the mindless drivel that a moddy must approve? SHEESH!!!

Well why don't the moddies that zap us so much, just give us topics and let them post what they want us to say, and then we can save our time and go out and drink beer and eat cheeseburgers and boat drinks, or go sailing or hunting or to the beach or something. Leaving the moddies to handle the conversation since that way they don't have to moderate us and make the job easier on themselves and we give them a vacation.
  :D 8) :pirate:

I mean why should people even converse in here on any subject if a moddy doesn't like the topic ( given topic within guideline standards) and decides that the topic has been talked out, while everyone is behaving themselves and being polite to one another and still chatting it up??? SHEESH!!!! :D 8) :pirate:

The thing is people may never convince anyone of their view..but it gives people a chance to learn from each other. Troy,Larry, who ever else, all have things that they can teach and give us food for thought if allowed the opportunity.
Jello doesn't spark heated debate, fighting, name-calling, whining, etc. I'm all for fun, and fun for all. These topics aren't fun for anyone.

Well since you know so much about how much fun people are having while they are behaving themselves, or are so capable of knowing just what the fun topics are.... why not give us a list of the afforementioned fun topics? ( BTW please do not include sports. SHEESH ever see the arguments and name calling those have caused??)
That way no one get's hurt and they know what is safe to talk about. And everyone gets to share your idea of fun.

I find them fun..I always like a good debate, as long as personal attacks don't come into play...we can usually all have a cyber drink together after the debate even though they get pretty heated.

Also, I'm in on the clubbing Hillary..any Hillary really. They all seem to be annoying...

i don't know much about clubbing seals...it doesn't sound pleasant but I can't imagine there are many pleasant ways to die so...as for doing it in front of the mother, I have no idea if they "know" what is happening. Can they process information like that? Are we giving them human qualties like calling them infants? I mean in science you wouldn';t refer to a baby animal as an infant (yes I know humans are animals, but thats not the discussion) so I think (sometimes I do that) maybe we are humanizing them some. But like I said I am not a seal so I can't tell you what they "think'.

Have you seen the new bumper stickers that read "RUN, HILLARY, RUN?"
They're all the rage, and, apparently SO popular that the Democrats AND Republicans are both putting them on their cars.

ONE DIFFERENCE, HOWEVER-
The Democrats are putting them on their BACK bumpers.
The Republicans are putting them on their FRONT bumpers.

I find it amusing that those "bad hunters that shoot defenseless animals" are drug into a discussion (and I use that term loosly) on beating a baby seals brains out with a club.

This is almost always stated by someone who hasn't a clue about hunting, firearms or those who participate in it. They are however entitled to their opinion, as am I. Debating hunting is something I have no desire to do. It's kinda like being a JB fan. You either get it, or you don't.

Those of us who would rather eat venison or wild turkey instead of meat filled with anything and everything under the sun are helping maintain manageable numbers so that these creatures don't starve or end up in someones lap while driving down the road.

It may also confuse you more to mention that I consider myself to be an animal lover who appreciates nature and it's creatures more than these folks who don't get it.
