Anyone know what ever became of the Chart Room bar in Key West?

Just check out my signature. I love the Chart Room Bar. Only visited once, in 2004. Missed it last year even though I was at MOTM. Maybe this year...

One of my favorite places in KW. Off the beaten path, and tons of shady-type local history.

Very cool place....although having people buried in a bar is kind of wierd (not that weird for Key West I guess...there are dead people in Capt. Tony's too). The Chart Room also has some good pics of JB on the wall behind the bar.

I found the Chart Room Bar to be a disappointment when I finally went there a couple of years ago.
It was definitely not what I was expecting.
You have to walk through a resort to get to it and it kind of had a "pinky up" feel to it.
Perhaps it was better back in the days.
