I am sorry, vacuuming is never 'good'. It is a evil necessity. Ask my dog, she barks like crazy, so it can't be any good.

75% of the time I'm at home, I'm alone. Sometimes I'm asleep because I work an odd shift. Sometimes my husband is travelling. All the kids moved out, so we had one half year of empty-nesting. Then an out-of-town son-in-law came for courses every week, and then the youngest changed schools and moved home. But she isn't here much, either.
Just me and the cranky old cat, and my computer!

We have five cats. They ignore the vacuum cleaner. Go figure!

since i live by myself......i'm usually alone!!......but i'm in a condo with tons of neighbors..........when i was younger i hated staying home alone our house was in the woods!!

I even stay at our remote cottage on the lake alone. So peaceful . . .

I love being at home alone. I savor every second of my solitude. I love it so much that I unplug the phone. No need to connect with anyone on the outside.

Being home alone is one of life's sweeter gifts.

I get scared...I don't even watch T.V. but I put on all the televisions so that I don't feel alone. Just wondering what everyone else does....?

I used to be that way. Part of it was living in a pretty isolated area. But also whenever the crew would go away and leave me alone I'd read Patricia Cornwall books where bad guys would always break into her house and try to kill her. I used to freak myself out pretty badly.
