Will most people be doing the pre-party on Friday night at the Best Western? or is there some other party's going on?

We'll be at the Best Western friday night........Oklahoma crew of 7. It's so much fun. I was really hungover for the show the next day

Im pretty excited to go to the ball as well. It sounds like fun but it also sounds like bad medicine for feeling good on Saturday. I'll take my chances

Meeting of the Mindless? at the Alpine Valley lodge/Hotel complex. 6p until Johnny Russler and the Beach Bum Band get tired.

We have a group of 14 who will be at the Best Western in Janesville...it is definitely, definitely fun!!!!
Alpine will be fun with the BBB also, but I won't be there....

Anybody have ideas for lodging the night of the show? We're driving Sat. AM for the show (first time to Alpine Valley), need something for Saturday night before we head to Chicago for a few days. I was hoping to find a budget or mid-range place to crash after the show without too much of a drive. Here's what I've checked for Sat. nite, all full:
Best Western Janesville & Harbor Shores
Baymont Waterford
Super 8 Delavan
AmericInn Elkhorn & Burlington
Really don't want to end up in the back of the Jeep in a Wal-Mart parking lot

Got skunked with the TM biz. Had five phriends working for me in various methods and noone got seats. Off to the brokers w/ me... $$$

Don't. Please. You only encourage them to continue to rake people over the coals for seats.
Wait a couple weeks until TM starts putting "credit card failed" tickets back in the pool; check the ticket exchange here for folks selling their extras for face and fees; and if you still need to: pick them up in the lot.

As long as hardcore fans keep getting shut out, they will still use brokers. It stinks but it's life.

I think in some cases, patience with Ticketmaster would be a good thing to try as well. It was almost an hour after they went on sale that I got our Tix for Alpine.

It wouldnt hurt to see the maximum tickets allowed down to 4 also, Id be ok with a max of 2

hmm..that would be bad though if you had a larger group that you want to be with...maybe they should do a max of 2 for lawn tickets and a max of 6 or 8 for pavillion...then pavillion will still be in lots together, lawn doesn't matter anyway...hmmm.(not like we have any control over it anyway though)
