That is kind of hard believe. I am sure twister was fun to watch, but thanks for trying.
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to
fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

The group picture makes me Happy-Sad

Happy: After three years and +10,800 posts, I have finally met hundreds of my fellow BN'rs. I knew this before, but now it is carved in stone, many of you are/will be my friends for life.

Sad: Sensory/Time Managment Overload. I wanted to spend hours with so many of you and was only able to spend a couple of minutes before I was dragged off to another introduction and yet another BN'r I could have spent the entire day with. I cannot start naming names, because there are just too many to mention and I don't want to hurt anyones feelings by leaving you off, but this trip was great. And I needed it.

Special thanks to Lisa (Big Phan) for making it work. Penny, Jodi, Connie who were not there but talked me into making it happen

Hey BN: I LOVE YOU GUYS

Volcano Express

Post by islaMike »

Hi,

This was our first time on the express and I have to say for the most part it was a blast. We were at the ball on Friday night (WOW what a great time) and there Sat for Whaleshark and the bus trip. I think for the amount of people in our overall group it was well done. The efforts by Rob and crew with the food and drink was recognized by me and my wife. I run events like this professionally and know how hard they can be. The people we met "other BN'rs and PHs" were fantastic and we had a wonderful time with you all!

My only complaint was we were on bus #8 and after the concert it took us back to Milwaukee then to Janesville even though only 10 people on the bus were going back to Milwaukee. We got on the bus at 11 and never got back to Janesville until almost 4AM. The first couple hours we were still laughing and partying but the last 2 or so were painful. I called Rob at 4 AM and was not real nice but yesterday emailed him and told him I was frustrated but did have a great time and thank you. Rob ran around at the tailgate working his ass off.

* After the long bus ride I never got contact info from our new friends Amy and Jason from Deerfield. You guys out there? We would love to stay in touch!

Would we do it again YES!

Come Monday... and back to reality... :-?

It was great seeing old friends and meeting new ones. I'm just sorry I didn't get to meet everyone on the list.

CaptainP, your Wisconsin hospitality was awesome! The tailgate rocked!!

This Florida gal was a little chilly when the sun went down, but what a beautiful day it was to hang around out with my BN friends. Thank you all!!

Hey all! Alpine was a great time. Enjoyed meeting everyone. Wish i had had time to meet more of you. Great to see a good turnout for the BN picture. I don't think i ever left the greater VE bus area so I missed out on a lot of the parking lot stuff. Show was great, weather was good (no rain) and the bus trip was a blast. Sorry to hear that some of you had a less then enjoyable bus experience; that blows. Look fwd to doing it again next year for sure! On to Jones Beach....

I was also on the now-infamous Bus #8 that detoured to Milwaukee. One of the West Virginia crew. It was definately a blast.. I've never heard the phrase "You've been Pittsnogled" so much in my life. Only regret was I was "unlucky" enough to hear BEG as an encore at both shows I've been to this summer - 9 hours apart. Hopefully I can hear something else at Nissan.

Ok another thing that was funny just came to me. (it usually takes me a few days to piece it all together). I remember waking up on the bus after the show on the way back tothe hotel to see our bus drivers window so fogged up he couldnt see and was wiping it down with his shirt. I mean it was fogged up good. This dude was peeking his head all around just trying to find a spot to see the road. Toooo funnyyyyy

Hello all! What a great time this weekend and great to meet some of you at the tailgate....little did I know that we pulled into the lot shortly after Captain P's group---thanks to jkortum for pointing that out to me.

I think this is the short list of BNer's that I met:

jkortum---nice to tailgate next to you and your phlock, and thanks for the hospitality and the chat with you.

Ringling Ringling---hope that you enjoyed the Brewtopia! It was the last one.

Candy---so nice to meet you---I try to get to Orlando as often as I can, so maybe we'll meet again there.

Captain P---wish that I had taken you up on the gumbo as I hear it was awesome.

Captain Flock---little did I know until a couple hours later that you were at our tailgate excited that we had cornhole (the ones with the parrots on them).

Cubbie and Mrs. Cubbie---glad that you were able to make the show and fun to see you in the parking lot of the Super 8 in Beloit the next morning.

Tequila Tom, HarbourGirl, Comtnfish and BigHatCarmen---good to meet you, too.

Tiki Bar---nice surprise running into you on the way into the venue.

I missed the BN photo.....sorry.

And to anyone else that I may have forgotten about....it is great to be a part of BN. It is great that I finally came out of my lurker shell.

Looking forward to seeing you all again soon!

It is always wonderful to see Buffett at Alpine, but the weekend goes by way too quickly. But yet I will be thankful for the new friends that I met and the great memories of the day.

We'll folks ...we did it! Another Buffett show under our collective belts.

After all the anticipation, the planning, the organizing, the endless waiting, it's really sad to see it all end.

I was dissappointed in the Hog's & Kisses Beach Party (Lake Geneva). I told the DJ that one Buffett song for every eight hip hop crap songs was not my idea of a "beach party". He was totally uninterested in my opinion and we eventually left. Carvetti's was much more Buffett-friendly and featured delicious tropical drinks.

Saturday was a fantastic day! Buffett was awesome and no one in our group got seperated/lost for once

I think I drank too much on Saturday - I don't remember alot, and the day went by too fast, but the 3 cameras of pics and all the drunk bumps and bruises I have to show for it were worth it! I lost my lanyard, and have seen pictures circulating of me making out with women....oopsie...but like I said.......It was worth it and I can't wait to do it again!

It was so good to see everyone again!!!!!

Coconut Bra has left the building..........
