Come to Altanta. I have been told that tailgating in Charlotte doesnt exist anymore, cause they dont open the parking lot till 6pm. Happenend last time Jimmy played there at Verizon. We are heading to Atlanta this year, come join the funSidew13 wrote:Tring to decided on Atlanta or Charlotte

Interesting - last year was at the Charlotte Coliseum, which did allow tailgating. But Verizon does not?PHnSC wrote:Come to Altanta. The tailgaiting is awesome at HiFi Buys....Atlanta is a great city for concerts! (from Buffett).
I am SOOOO ready for his concert....I'll be there!
As a matter of fact, I just returned from drinking Corona Extra in preperation for his concert!!! and maybe, just maybe, a shot or two of Jaggermeister (or however it is spelled when one is completely sober)

Tailgating use to be great at Verizon for Buffett, but last time he was there, a friend of mine went and said that the parking lot was not opened up till 6pm. Also heard it from other people. The reason they were told was because Verizon was spending way to much money on parking lot cleanup so they wont open the lots till a couple hours before showtime.gingerbreadman wrote:Interesting - last year was at the Charlotte Coliseum, which did allow tailgating. We do a shrimp broil every time we go to one of Jimmy's shows.... you are all invited - come find us in the RV area at HiFiBuys! This will be our third show and they just keep getting better every time we see him. We were thinking about catching the Charlotte show - but I dont like the tailgating situation there - nothing beats Atlanta before the show... FANTASTIC. If my buds from Orlando are around and reading this board - bring the Captn' and the lighted sombraro... we are so ready for this show!which particular harbor? wrote:The tailgaiting is awesome at HiFi Buys....Atlanta is a great city for concerts! im there every year (when he comes)
Fall semester in a Southern college town has little to do with studying and more to do with football and fraternity rush. I didn't know much about the football team. Hell at that time I was really an Ole Miss fan and to this day I still cant figure out why I didn’t enroll at the U of Mississippi-JB
