They usually don't let us blow-up types in the concert so I don't need a ticket, but I would like a 'chaperone' to take me to the tailgate..hint, hint!!
(See the FPP sticky thread in the social forum)
Um...I can't find the sticky thread. But if you are still looking for a chaperone, I could probably handle it. Just PM me if you are still looking for someone.
I just re-read this and it sounds like I am soliciting a date from a blow up toy!
Does anyone know what it costs to park an RV at Starlake?

According to the FAQ on their web site:
What about Limo, Bus and Motorhome Parking?
Limo parking fee is $25 for regular shows and $30 for festival shows. Motorhome and bus parking fee is $25 for regular shows and $30 for festival shows (no hook-up available). Limo and bus parking is located in the VIP lot, outside the East Plaza only at the gate on the day of the show.

Hey PHeads - im drivin in form akron and want to know where to get on that Franks party bus thing or where best place to park / tailgate is and how early can I get there ?? Planning on leaving Akron at noon........
This is what I love about fellow PH's - you can get a ticket for face value - perhaps we are the only concert goers that have this "etiquette"about not sc alping tickets for 5 times the value!!
OH - and I am bringing 3 Buffett virgins as well - here they are...
I have a baseball tournament in Cooperstown next week so I already have half the week off. I was looking at my calender and saw that there is this little concert in Pittsburgh on Tuesday. My reaction was of course, take the whole week off and go see Jimmy!!
Now, the problem. Who has two lawn tickets available? Face plus fees of course. And I will pick them up at the tailgate.
rednekk, I saw your post and will take it if I can find another single.
I will post an add on the ticket exchange as well.
Dumb and drunk as I was, you know I would do it all again.
I posted this on the general discussion yesterday as well but ticketmaster must have released some extra lawn yesterday because you can get them on the ticketmaster website still. So run and go buy them desperate Parrotheads. I just checked and as of right now you can still get some so good luck to all of you without tickets. Fins UP ~^~
On my way----leaving today for the concert, in around about way---taking a mini vac.-- will have my laptop but don't know about computer access---will spend fri and sat nights on the tropical shores of lake erie at presque-isle, and then sun-mon tues in the wilds of racoon creek state park (a mere 6 miles from post gazette) any BNers who may be camping there stop by loop e site 1 for the pre-concert tailgates on sun and mon nights. HERE IS THE DRILL FOR TUES.Anyone wanting to tailgate near my rv---you see the liscense plate---20 foot flag pole with the 6 ft pink flamingo--buffalo sabre flag---florida state flag---anyone can call the 1-800- 604-0838 for updates tues am--i plan to get in line 9:30-10:00 at which time i will leave a message (if the police make me move i will find a nearby hiding place and try again and again and again) Once in the parking lot I will try for a good location and update the 800# with a message discribing our location. hope to see you all soon.
At the risk of turning this into a pseudo-ticket exchange thread, I've got three lawn seats for anyone who needs 'em (face +fees).
If you're local (near Pittsburgh), I can meet up sometime in the next few days to drop them off, or just get together in the parking lot before the show.
fanvan...two yrs ago (last time JB played Starlake), the cops were complete diccs....they initially said that they were not going to open until 4pm, and would not let anyone get in line (I got there one-ish). Not sure what their "policy" will be this year, but they seem to get stricter every year.
There is a couple of small fields next to Starlake that we general hang at until enough people show and they have to open the gates. We'll probably be parked there for a bit.
We are RVing it this year, so we'll be looking for you...and I suppose I won't hold it against you that you are a Bills and Seminole fan (where is the /barf/ emoticon?)
