We get in the lot at 9am (make sure we do not park by jerks), start the blender at 10am and drink until the concert starts!

Sound like a plan??? I think it sounds good! My Daddio taught me well :)

By the way everyone I have the best Dad in the world...who is only going to 2 concerts this year because I can't make the Pitts. one due to work :)
Love ya Dad!!!
Why are you waiting a whole hour to start the blender? :o
My thoughts exactly!!! the blender should be ready to go the moment you step out of the car!! (actually before you even get to the lot!! )
Not with the Mass. State police.......Corona.....bottle opener....easier to hide it !!!!...........and Zuke if we start that early it will be Bloddy Mary's....like coffee in the morning!!

Don't forget the Mansfield Police.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I assume you mean Santa (who posts under the name Santa) as in Mike who was there last year with his RV?

Last year I sold him my 2 extra tickets a week before the show so he didn't comit to going until then so who knows.

This year I need two tickets.. :-?

We are under the three month mark, hopefully enough time for the parking lots to dry out after the deluge of rain in NE lately!

Here is a question for GW regulars, what are the tailgating lots surface? (blacktop, dirt, sand, mud?) Gotta know to bring the correct anchors for the TIKI BAR!

This will be of little help to you...

It depends on where you park, some of the lots are blacktop and some are dirt. The RV section is almost all dirt or soft blacktop. Unfortunatally you really don't have a choice as to where you park, the lots get filled up so fast they have many many parking lot attendants directing you to the next open space and once your parked you really can't move. The earlier you arrive the better chance you have of getting to pick a spot.

Maybe this picture will help you get a sence of the lot (don't ask about the guy on the horse)
