Never miss it!!!!!!!!!! Just started cleaning the coolers, and celebrating with a nice coconut-mango margarita.

From the center of D.C. it's about 30 miles.

I think it took about 25 minutes to drive from Dulles airport to the hotel when we went last year.

Since it's on a Thursday, you could definitely make a good weekend out of it and see the sights Fri-Sun.
Nissan was my very first (well, and only) tailgate, so it kinda has a special place in my heart.
That, and, I couldn't forget that day, even if I wanted to!

Just give yourself a little bit of time on Fri to recover from the show on Thursday.
We (well I) had wanted to see some of the Civil War stuff when we were out there 'cause I think that kind of stuff is groovy, but there really wasn't enough time and we were anxious to get back home.

Outside.
Huge lawn.
Big hill.
Lotsa stairs (although I wasn't as bothered by them as some people led me to believe).

The last time I was there was 2003, 4th of July weekend. It was like a furnace.

Come find my local PHC camp. We bring at least 4 pop-up tents for shade and a DJ playing all afternoon.
I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now!

I'm thinking about going, but there is one big turn off!
There is only one way to get out of that parking lot..that really sucked!
