To all of you that asked me questions that I never responded to: Sorry about that! I never got around to logging on.

Had a great time yesterday especially meeting everyone. The chances of pulling into the lots at the same exact moment, in the same exact lot as Blackjack and the Crowne Crew...truly a Jimmy Miracle.

I'm glad I could supply a wrench to open the fire hydrant with.

IV's worked out well for me, no hang over, made it to court this morning, plead it down to 5 over (no points).

I was absolutely exhausted last night, unpacking the car sucked and I still have to put everything away, its all in my backyard at the moment.

Dare I say it, but I think last year's tailgate was more fun. Overall everyone seemed pretty mellow this year, which is understandable w/ the heat I guess.

So, to go to MSG or not to go...that is the question...

As I just crawl out of bed, screaming from the sunburn I got (which is quite possibly worse than last year :( ), I want to thank the BNer's and their families I was with yesterday for making this year even better than last....

to FlipFlopGirl, I am so so so sorry. My phone died and I couldn't call you back to find you (and didn't have the sheet to get your number to call you from a different phone) :(

to Mick and Gypsy, it was great to see you again!

to BJ and BJ's wife - I can't tell you how good those ribs and london broil were, thank you!!

to Zanth and Rednekkph - thanks again for the awesome hospitality, I can't thank you enough; and thank you Frank for the incredible Daquiris....they were the perfect treat in yesterday's weather, and my mother thanks you for the air conditioning in the truck :)

to Pirate's wife - thanks so much for the pasta salad and the company :)

to beachbumm -It was great to meet you and your son was so adorable. My mom thanks you for the shrimp ;)

to kitty - Great to see you and thanks for margaritas!!!

(and I'm probably forgetting someone else, and I apologise)

Thank you all for a great time yesterday; without you guys, it would seriously not have been nearly as much fun.

Thanks for putting us on the list but sorry we never got to meet up. We had 1 bad experience after another yesterday. We arrived very early and were shooed from 1 lot to another. We wound up in lot p11, around 1:00 oclock, close to the river near the road by the big buses. Which by the way, kept their diesels idling all afternoon to run the air conditioners. We had set up our display and a big gust of wind came by and knocked it over, breaking it up. With help from our fellow parrotheads, we did get it set back up in an abbreviated version, And boy was it hot. Our keet had the right idea, she turned on our generator and took a nap with the a/c blasting. But you know what, all in all, we had fun and will be there next year. See you all in Great Woods & MSG.

Sorry I could not meet up with all of you and meet you for the first time. Thank you Harry Fins for calling me back... but when we finally got into a lot, the lot closest to the bridge, and set up we walked around our lot to see what was going...my next move was to call you and come over to your lot but I could not even think of walking anymore with the heat. We went back to our spot and got in the pool with drinks and stayed there. 8)

Concert was great!!!!!!!

If anyone is sending pics from your neck of the parking lot I would like to be included on that list so I can start putting faces with the names.

Sounds like a good time was had by all.

YEEHAA!!

Yes, the concert was GREAT!! I knew it was Jerry's birthday and it was nice for Jimmy to recognize it. I hit no traffic all the way from NYC out to the foot of Philly...then...suddenly.....the dreaded parking lot traffic!!! I sat for nearly an hour and once parked had to walk a few blocks to get to Tweeterville. However, once I saw all ya'll grass skirted, itsy bitsy parrot bikini wearing parrottheads, it was all worthwhile. :pirate:
I have tried not to buy into any of these ugly retirment rumors that have been spewed out over the last few years but that short, second intermission where they played the "Here We Are" video, I started to get a sinking feeling. I am still going to live in my denial though.A special thanks to Al, Chuck, Gerard, Jennifer and Scoman for the phone calls and helping me hit my...sad to say...first show this summer. I hope to be as fortunate for Great Woods. Love and tequila to all BN'ers, parrottheads. Coral reefers and the main man himself.

We had an awesome time! The concert was great and it was so much fun to be with our friends who had never been to a JB concert. :) They couldn't believe the crowd! My friend Stan just kept looking over at the lawn section shaking his head "unbelievable" he kept saying. We finally found parking lot 1 for handicap parking - took us a while and it seemed like we kept going around in circles. The parking lot was kind of boring but it was the best place for me to be because there was no way I would of been able to walk far in that heat. I went inside the air conditioning a couple of times to get re-energized. They allowed us to bring in spray bottles so that worked out well.

Today we went back over to Camden so my hubby could go see the Battleship. Maria and I stayed in the air-conditioned building while Mike and Stan went and took a tour of the boat - not my idea of fun in 100 degree weather. They were in there for over an hour and came out 5 lbs. lighter!

Hey guys,
Just got back from Nissan, very fun time and even though it was hot, can't compare to Camden.
Great seeing everyone on Tuesday, we have to be die hard fans or flat out insane to stay out there in the heat all day. We are the People...
I will post pix and video a bit later. Thanks all!

Hey All! I think we're finally recovered from the heat in Camden. Had a great time and it was great to meet some BN'ers in the lot. We just happened to be parked a few rows away! Zanth, great pictures and video. We're already looking forward to next year!
