Alpine Valley- tickets before the show

Post by FlipFlops77 »

If I am lucky enought to get tickets, I may have 1 or 2 extra lawn tickets to Alpine Valley; if so then I was going to try and sell them before the concert- just didn't know if I would have any trouble selling them last minute or not? What do you think?

I have not used ticketbastard since 1991. I go to the Alpine lot and have always found my tickets. Anywhere from the 8th row on back. You should have no trouble getting rid of them

How many tickets are they allowing this year? Is it 8 like every other time?

That is why it is so hard to get tickets.. Everyone takes 8 even if they only need 2... Just to make a few bucks...

FYI: I am NOT purchasing 8 tickets. Actually, I am only wanting 4; the couple that's planning on going with us MAY back-out at the last minute. So don't accuse me of purchasing tickets that I Know I won't use. ..AND if I do need to sell the tickets I am only going to sell them for face value.

Dude, I did not mean nothing by it.... Sorry...

I was just making a point...
If they limmited it to 4 tickets it would be easier for people to get tickets... there would be a lot less scalping..

Two years ago, the group I went with had about 75 tickets - all but two were used and those two were sold for face value (with none of the additional fees) in the parking lot to two nice girls. There was no scalping here.

Face value I think was something like 33 dollars.. By the time you pay all the alpine charges, parking and ticketmaster and shipping charges it came to almost 49.00.... So you Actually 11 dollars per ticket more than what I paid.....

you got a real good deal.... Congrats.....

Wow, you just made my day!!!! i did get a deal, the key is to watch the sales that end at night, not as many people bidding and you can jump in with a bid at the last second! worked well for me!

Thanks for the info!

LJ

p.s. i live in waukesha too, with the warm weather, i want to go have a burger, beer, and buffett outside!
