Anyone else think there's a good chance this could be the name of the new CD due out in fall?

I hate the use of the word "end" in it and hope that it is used as nothing more than a catchy title.

Bet there's a good chance.
And I still love the French translation:
Le parti à la fin du monde

Remember back in the final days of the cold war when people used to joke about "We've just launched our missiles, they have just launched theirs. You only have twelve minutes to live! What'cha gonna do?!?!?"
HEHEHEHEHEHEHE (evil "Renfield" laugh)!!!! I'm going to party like it is the "End of The World"!
Not a bad title if you ask me. . . Can't wait for the accompanying song!!!

Since the name is "Party AT the End of the World, I think it could be a reference to the very old days when people thought that world was flat. It was the brave and adventurous explorers and sailors who set out to see if world was, indeed, flat or round.

I'm biased, but I'd like to think the "party at the end of the world" might refer to a small bar in Bimini. I used to spend about 2 nites a week there when we did port nights on my previous job. A great little dive bar run by a lady named Sarah who always took great care of our crews. The party would move back and forth down the street between The End of The World and The Compleat Angler, the old Hemingway haunt. Now that the Angler has burned down most of the nite life is at The End of The World. Buffett has written of The Angler, so I know he's familiar with the parties at The End of The World.

Jimmy used to refer to Key West as "The End of the World". I would think that is where the title comes from.

Blackbeard's?
Penny and I were just discussing the new CD this morning and I had the same hunch about the origin of the name.
The End Of The World.

My money is on the thought that it's a song from the CD and maybe the CD title.
I'm going with someting upbeat.

The parties I've been to at The End Of The World were all very upbeat!
... and some of them were followed by feeling very beat up the next morning!
