Nissan Pavilion - getting good tix

Post by kekieffer »

Has anyone ever gone to Nissan the morning of the onsale date to participate in the ticket lottery (http://www.nissanpavilion.com/Buffett_i ... n_2006.htm?). I'm thinking of trying it this year but am worried about getting shut out if I end up near the back of the line.

I'm wary of the whole Lottery system as my luck in them hasn't been good.

Were you able to get tickets?

We lucked out. Between me and my siblings we got 18 tickets. 10 pav and 8 lawn. I swear, by 10:04 no more tickets were available.

Don't think the thought HASN'T crossed my mind... when I saw what the scalpers are charging for these tickets... all I saw was $$$$$$$.

However, this only barely covers what we needed. We have a big group that goes each year (kind of a company function) and in years where I'm not able to get through, or like last year where I was in Jamaica the day they went on sale... my boss just buys them through brokers.

My 9 year old daughter was stressed that I wouldn't get a ticket for her, but my boss promised her that she would go, one way or another. All she really cares about is hanging out in the hot tub in the parking lot beforehand.
