OK, since JB doesn't come to our remote part of the country, we have to fly to see him. I got tix for Dallas, but don't know much about the venue or the Lawn seating. All the Smirnoff site says is 'no lawn chairs, no this, no that...".
What's the best way to view the concert from the lawn? Bring a blanket or disposable tarp? Are sand chairs ok? Is there a huge crush to get through the gates when they open? Or should we just plan on standing the whole time? Anything we should bring with us?
Thank you, Dallas PHs.

as far as the sand chairs, no you aren't allowed to bring ANY type of chair in through the gate......and i would bring a blanket or a tarp, cause the itchy grass during intermission. you will probably be standing the whole time during the show. and i wouldnt say there is a HUGE crush to get through the gates, but you will probably have to stand in line for a few min.moondoggie wrote:OK, since JB doesn't come to our remote part of the country, we have to fly to see him. as far as stuff to bring with you....just stuff for the tailgate, and get there early cause just like everything else here in TX the tailgate will be bigger than anywhere else!

I thought the plan was "sticky", not "itchy" grass during intermissions...fins2theleft wrote:as far as the sand chairs, no you aren't allowed to bring ANY type of chair in through the gate......and i would bring a blanket or a tarp, cause the itchy grass during intermission. you will probably be standing the whole time during the show. and i wouldnt say there is a HUGE crush to get through the gates, but you will probably have to stand in line for a few min.moondoggie wrote:OK, since JB doesn't come to our remote part of the country, we have to fly to see him.
