The only active pitchers in Major League Baseball to have a victory over ALL 30 M.L. teams are Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling.
The co-M.V.P.s of the 2001 World Series were.................RANDY JOHNSON AND CURT SCHILLING.
The only players to be named World Series M.V.P. twice were Sandy Koufax (1963 & 1965), Bob Gibson (1964 & 1967), and Reggie Jackson (1973 & 1977). Jackson is the only one to win it with two different teams.
The only player on a losing team to be named World Series M.V.P. is Bobby Richardson (1960, Yankees vs. Pirates)
The 1960 World Series went 7 game. In those 7 games the Yankees scored a total of 55 runs. The Pirates scored 27 times.
The Pirates won the World Series.
