Be careful. It's tour season and the thieves are out there..... Don't fall for the scam..... The rip-off artist referred to below got the intended victim's phone number from the BN ticket exchange. Personally, I wouldn't post my number there for the world to see.....
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!
This is from another thread, but I felt it deserved its own thread, as a warning.

He says he is not a scalper etc... how do I trust him??? what do I ask when he calls me back today???? and how much do I offer him??
Help please...
RUN.
HE called YOU? Where did he get your number? (*edit* answer: he got it here; you posted it in the ticket exchange) WHY did he call you? (*edit* answer: to rip you off) Don't let your excitement cloud your judgement; this has ALL the earmarks of a common scam. Ask yourself, "Does any of this make sense?" NO!
DON'T trust him.
Ask for his name, address and phone number. How does he have tickets already (is he a season ticket holder?)? WHERE did he get YOUR name and number and WHY is he calling you? (*edit* the BN Ticket exchange..... )
He'll probably have already hung up at that point, or called you foolish for passing up such a *great* opportunity...... And then, having failed in ripping you off, he'll move to the next potential sucker.....
Do NOT deal with this person!

He lied. If he was a parrothead with primo seats, why wouldn't he sell them to someone he knows, instead of taking a chance on someone he never met (you)?
Personally, I'd take your phone number off the post. It sets you up....

thanks everyone for the help. This Bozo just called me back after I was trying to contact him at the number he left me for 60 minutes (no workie). I told him i changed my mind and he said OK and no pressure. I think I'll try to get tickets in hand at the same time as exchanging the money.

Don't forget that if some bozo sells you tickets and he knows either your name or phone number, he could easily find out your address and clean out your home while you're at the concert!
