Left out again!!! Tried Chicago and got shut out within 2 mins!!!!!! How do they sell that many tickets so quick? This is 2 years in a row of not getting Chicago tickets. Guess I could go to Ebay, they had tickets posted within 5 mins of going on sales........ :(

Tried for chicago. got in at 10 and found 6 lawn. friend got on at work at ten and waited the wait time was 4 minutes, sure enough, sold out. The local department store saved us and we found 6 pavillion seats at 10:28, it doesnt make any sense the way ticketmaster works. their website is horrible, they need to make onsale dates different for the big shows instead of having 8 buffett shows go on sale at the same time.

How has everyone done when you're able to go to a TicketBa5tard outlet in person? Good tickets? Or the same old BS?

Nahhh, I don't think so.

There are plenty of people that put forth an effort and got shut out. It's really a matter of being prepared, putting in an effort and GETTING LUCKY.
Sorry, but luck has very little, if anything, to do with it. If you are willing to to the preparation and get the people and resources in place, you can easily control your own destiny. There are quite a few people on here who have never been shut out - do you really think we're all merely lucky?
Yes, partially I do think some of it is luck, or I wouldn't have said that in the first place. Some people can't farm out 20 other people to stand in lines, run computers and make phone calls - so they have no choice but to use one computer, or phone, or stand in one line and do the best they can. I've never been shut out for Camden, and I prepare the best way I know how, but it's just me here solo. When I end up with tickets, I DO consider myself lucky cause I know others who go through much more as far as preparations and find themselves with nada.

So rather than go back and forth about our feelings on this, let's just say we agree to disagree - K? :P

The Cincinnati concert is not even on the Ticketbastard site now.
It's GONE! :o
Those f^@&heads have really screwed up now, people are talking about getting lawyers and reporting them to the credit card fraud people, Better Business Bureau, and other watchdogs.

And I can't even get to my account there to check and see what the heck they billed me after the fiasco Saturday.
Somebody please tell Jimmy he has to use another way to sell his concert tickets....there has to be another way.

For Jimmy that may work, but don't rely on it for all shows. When Alabama was on their American Farewell Tour, they had a show in Columbus GA, and if you went to Ticketmaster outlets in Atlanta or called the Atlanta Ticketmaster number, you were told you could not purchase tickets that way, you either had to do it online or call/visit the Columbus TicketMaster outlets.
PHINkiter0303 wrote: The ONLY way to get these is by calling a local ticketmaster number that does not have any Buffett shows going on in that area. I am not trying to brag or anything but my brother and i tried both calling ( for example) some regional tickemaster #in NJ number to get tix...513 562 4949...WE were able to get 8 lawn to ATL, and the same to both boston shows in 20 min..no problems at all. I am just saying this to help out. I may not need all these tix and if not Ill post them here..Just trying to a friendly FYI to other to stay AWAY from the internet sale if at all possible..Hope this helps in the future....

I will jump on the SOMETHINGS WRONG bandwagon here ...I got tickets in the pavillion (ROW BB...almost the lawn) but when i first went in at 10:01 by an official US government clock ....ticketmaster said nothing left ....(i got curious looks at work when i said NO WAY in a higher volume that was not expected..lol) ....went back in to get these tickets i have now ...which as an earlier post said was probably released too soon ....i can't believe that 6000 pavillion and 18000 lawn seats can go in less than 2 or 3 minutes ...i do not care how many people are online ...

maybe the computer release tickets in waves ?????
maybe the idea that brokers have some kind of INSIDE track to hundreds maybe thousands of tickets are true ???
maybe we will never know the correct answer ....( like gasoline prices)

When Kenny Chesney was touring to promote his When the Sun Goes Down album, before he hit the major shows, he toured southern college campuses and played small venues there, roughly 250-500 people per event.

A friend of mine was shooting pool at a place in Auburn, AL the night before the Auburn show and a tour bus pulled up. Off hops Chesney, who comes in and shoots several rounds of pool with the people there. It turns out that the show at Ole Miss (400 tickets) somehow ended up (between promoters and venue management) to have less than 100 tickets to distribute to the public. When Chesney heard that less than 25% of tickets for that show would be available for purchase through legitimate means, he canceled the show and came on to Auburn early.

Point of this post: It just goes to show that those with the ability can and will skim tickets for popular shows and keep the honest fans from being able to get them.
