Face it: Buffett doesn't care about your ticketing woes. If he did, he'd have advanced ticketing for fan club members.
How much did Buffett make off you freaks paying $100+ for each of your tickets? I don't understand how Buffett fans can be so loyal in light of the insane prices and the relatively simple music spewed out by his band.
Buffett fans mocking WSP fans is like a high school chess club challenging the basketball team to a slam dunk contest.

Um Newbie, take your mumble jumble elsewhere - don't talk loyalty here.OhNoNotAgain wrote:Face it: Buffett doesn't care about your ticketing woes. If he did, he'd have advanced ticketing for fan club members.

This doesn't even deserve an explanation.

OhNo, don't take things so personal.
Some people like very intricate music composition like Trey and Warren and Karl Denson and so on. But sometimes those same people like simplicity as well.
Its not so much as the musicianship that makes me a Buffett fan, it is the storytellin mixed with showmanship.
And I only played 36 dollars.

You all said it yourselves: Buffett's ticketing blows.
Not saying WSP has it all figured out, I just got a little surprised that people who wear cacti on their heads at shows and get amped up over cigarette lighter adaptors for their blenders can attempt a game of "my band is better than your band" with a southern rock band.

Yeah, EVERYONE knows that WSP is much better than that Jim Buffet guy. Of course I also think everyone is an Idiot!!
(Okay,so ive never heard of WSP)
As far as presales, been there done that, prices are high and can still scalp, the only thing it solves is MAYBE more fans get first shot at tickets. But as weve seen here, even some "true" fans scalp.
Just my opionion, I may be wrong.

So what I see here...is Buffet does not have his own in house ticketing system for its legion of loyal "parrotheads"?
Oh, that is rich.
Yet a poor band from Georgia with only 12-15 mil a year in touring revenues is able to accomplish this?
Wow...no wonder since Pink and A1A I have just stuck to his books.

You didn't do so well on reading comprehension tests in school, did you?OystersandBeer wrote:OhNo, I don't recall people saying Buffett is better than Widespread. I recall someone makin a joke about them only having six fans. And the posts after that, people saying they like WSP. And then you gettin offended.
Would a scalper even be interested in tickets to a band with 6 fans?
