coming from a person posting from the home of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love... I don't think I'd get into a "looks" debate.

Does anyone else have the impression that some humor-impaired pinhead just posted a "please help me" thread on a Widespread Panic board somewhere?

You mean WSP panic fans:
1) can read
2) have electricity
3) use computers

Im kidding of course, as teh southern rock expert from the deep south area of Seattle will probably not understand.
M.K. "You should never use any of the 13 bad words!"
S.T. "I thought there were only 7 bad words?"

D'oh! You got me. I bow to your message board superiority. Your high post count commands respect for the hours you've spent...hey, you're the head loser in charge, aren't you?

The searing whit and biting sense of humor displayed here would be enjoyed among Widespread Panic fans. You all are welcome on our boards...if you can find them.

Yeah, I don't meticulously check my spelling when posting on a Jimmy Buffett message board. My bad.

I hope pointing that out made you feel smarter. I can imagine what the average IQ around here.

But if you're gonna insult another poster's intelligence, it carries a bit more weight when you can spell that insult correctly.

*sigh* Alas, you are correct. As I said, your wise ways would be greatly appreciated by our unlearned masses.

Thank you for these moments of entertainment, Buffett fans. I will treasure them and recount them to all while on tour this summer. Image

:o

Wow, a discussion about tickets and a comparison I made between two musical groups has grown into a criticism of fans and a down-right pi$$ing contest. The maturity level is profound!

By making the suggestion and comparison about mail order, I'm not saying that it would eliminate the scalper issue, but I have to believe it would help. I don't know how much worse it can get and was simply trying to discuss alternatives

I'm not going to get involved in comparing bands, artists, the number of fans, etc. That's not what this thread is about. It surprises me that some of the "parrotheads" 'round these parts are so hostile and quick to bash others that they don't know or don't care for. To each his/her own in my book, no need to attack others for their tastes, or perceived lack thereof.

However, for clarification, Michael Houser, Widespread Panic's former lead guitarist died at the age of 40 when he lost his battle against pancreatic cancer. Making fun of a guy who died of cancer is pathetic.

Fin, don't let the comments of a few mess up your fun here at Buffetnews. Most discussions do veer off course and end up somewhere beyond the left field fence. We are all entitled to like our own music. Trashing anyone else's taste does us no good. The topic is still the fact that we hate ticketmaster for screwing us over time and time again.
