How long did the sniveling and whining and biatching and moaning go on after ticket sale day last year? Was it only about a week or so? I hope so cause I'm really getting tired of all of these threads about the same thing..... GET OVER IT AND MOVE ON!!!!

I have decided to stop my complaining about ticket prices.

Instead I am going to wait until the shows and start a thread about shirt costs or beer costs or ..... 8)

Thank goodness! I'm fairly new to these boards - lurked for a while before posting - and I'm thinking "THESE are the people my parents warned me about??" It was kind of sucking the fun out of the whole thing. I've just started avoiding any threads with the word "ticket" in it!

Yeah, don't be scared away by all the griping.. It'll die down soon enough and you'll discover other things that make you wonder why you ever started posting here... :P

This happens whenever tickets go onsale and not just on this board or for this artist. It's a place to vent and most people don't take comments very seriously (at least they shouldn't). At any rate, the good news is the tour begins in about a month and most of us will see at least one concert this tour. Fins up.

All I remember last year was the numerous threads about the Alpine show that wasn't.

There was some moaning about the Wrigley prices though.

Is there some law or statute that is requiring you to read them? Maybe I missed that.

We're all here to share in our appreciation of Jimmy Buffett. We're fortunate to have a place where we can discuss pretty much whatever we want - from tailgating plans to album reviews to, yes, ticket prices.

For every person who comes across as a whiner over ticket prices, there's someone else who comes across as an elitist. Like SchoonerWharf said, you don't have to read threads that don't appeal to you. It's interesting to note, though, that there seems to be more (and more vocal) "whining" this year; clearly the cost of seeing Jimmy live is starting to exceed a lot of BNers' pocketbooks.
