Did anyone get VIP parking? I didn't think it was necessary....I'm parking over by the "comfort stations" by Zach's Bay beach...it was a great time in that area in September of 04!!

REASON TAILGAITING AT JONES BEACH IS GREAT...
NOT JUST IS IT ON A BEACH..
THERE ARE MANY MANY CLEAN BATHROOMS. Actual Indoor bathrooms with running water.. No long lines at porta potties. Also easy to walk from the bay next to the theater over to the most popular beach area known as "FIELD 4" where there is a huge beach area, food and more bathrooms.
Hey when you tailgate all day, a clean full bathroom is a welcome sight!

Wow, i think its a little bigger now since you were there.. way back they didnt have the second level..
I can still remember when there wasn't as big an orchestra seating area and there was WATER infront of the stage (between the stage and the crowd).. sometimes a boat would pull around and let the artist off on to the stage.. THAT was cool!

S*it. I'm listening to Barometer Soup and Night I Painted the Sky just came on. Since it's 4th of July weekend, how cool would it be for Jimmy to close with Night I Painted the Sky and as he's singing (just him), they set off fireworks from behind the stage?

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar
