I was told that occasionally, you can go to Ticketmaster a day or two after tics went on sale, and even if the show had sold out, that you might be able to score a few once they have had a chance to digest the surge of the initial sale. So, after getting screwed by Ticketmaster on Saturady for the Camden NJ show, I figured I'd take a shot this afternoon (what the hell do I have to loose). Anyway, initially, Ticketmaster says after searching "Buffett" that there are shows scheduled in my area. When I click on the list of shows, there is no Camden show listed. hmmmmmm.
GOTTA LOVE TICKETMASTER!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have logged in everyday since Saturday on TM and searched Camden, it has been there.
Just checked right now and it is still there, 8/1 Camden Tweeter Center At The Waterfront.
PS - I have had no luck yet though with tickets.

Man, TM must really hate you all, I am looking at Cincy and Camden right now on TM's website.tjtryon wrote:Cincy is in the same boat. It's not listed on their website either. I was told today by a Customer Service Manager that that happens when there are absolutely NO tickets for sale, or the other time, they pull the show manually for a ticket screw up (ie the Cincy Null Ticket Issue).
No tickets available, but they allow me to search.

Same thing with Atlanta. You look on ticket master and it still allows you to search and still comes up with nothing!! Just say sold out / no chance in hell!

OK, I will take back part of what I just said. I can see both Cincy and Camden on TM and get into each respective's webpage, but Ciincy will not let me search for tickets. Camden will though.Piratical wrote:Man, TM must really hate you all, I am looking at Cincy and Camden right now on TM's website.tjtryon wrote:Cincy is in the same boat. Re: I thought this was a little interesting
This much is true. I was able to pull up some tickets for the NC show yesterday morning. Nothing I was willing to buy, but evidently others here found fairly good seats at that time.Bucs_fan wrote:I was told that occasionally, you can go to Ticketmaster a day or two after tics went on sale, and even if the show had sold out, that you might be able to score a few once they have had a chance to digest the surge of the initial sale. ...

Also with Premier Parking
I had the same problem with trying to get a premier parking ticket for the 8/5/06 Chicago show. Ticketmaster had the premier parking for the show listed when tix went on sale on Monday. However, yesterday, there was no listing for premier parking for the show.
I typed "buffett premier parking tinley" into the Ticketmaster search engine and was able to get a link to buy the parking pass.
Weird, weird stuff!

I don't want to live on that kind of island
No, I don't want to swim in a roped off sea.
Too much for me, too much for me
I've got to be where the wind and the water are free.

I had a similar experience with Chicago... it wasn't listed under the dates scheduled nationally... then I happened to notice at the very top of the page, before the national dates, is a section called "Chicago and Downstate IL"... and voila, there it was!Bucs_fan wrote:TM must hate me. I'll try searching Camden, just for the hell of it.
Maybe you have a similar thing happening, with the local at the top. Try it!
