There are several different threads with concerns about this years tour.

What bothers you most about this years tour?

I'm a 12 hour drive from the nearest show.

all the complaining

but the fact that everyone is ripping Jimmy apart about the prices. . .

. .I want to go see him . . .and I know I will have to buy a ticket . .period . . .

I just hate all the preliminary bashing that is going on . . .

I'm just not used to all the negative . . but then, maybe it's just from being on BN. . .I never used to feel this way . . .

I'll go . . and I'll have a great time . . .that's what I want . . and that's what he delivers. . .

. . nuff said. .

I don't think anyone's really ripping him apart though. Some folks (myself included) are just expressing their disappointment. The conversation has been pretty civil, by and large. We still love the music, and the man.

The folks who have been here for a while have been quite civil. Perhaps the being around 3 seasons on boards and facing the waves of "one post, pi$$ and moan, then stomp off" has me less and less impressed.

I had to say that I went with the "all of the above", only because there was no way to not include the "incredible distance to go" option. I'd add too: the stacking of the shows at the hot venues almost back-to-back-to back; and putting tickets to big venues on sale on the same day and making the phans chose one over another.

Tour hasn't started yet. But as far as the pre-tour - So far everything is o.k. He's scheduled to play and I got tickets. Sounds about right.

Nothing about this tour bothers me yet. It hasn't started, and not all of the show dates have been released yet. he still has the fall dates to announce. As far as the band changing. I'm sure he and the band will sound just fine. Quit being bothered by sh*t you have no control over, and just enjoy it for what it is.....Great music shared with great friends.

Has anyone really given it thought that he probably will tour this fall like he did in 2001? A new album is going to be out and he probably is going to be on the road to promote it. In 2001 the fall tour was suppose to be for Far Side but got postponed due to 9/11 and his album cover in a turbin on a camel. My sources here are saying a possible November date either at the Target Center but more likely the Excel energy center.

Are people complaining?

I picked the loss because I hate to see anyone lose their job.

I ain't ripping Jimmy for it, but it doesn't sit well with me.

What bothers me most is the wait for new shows. Life's rough.

Remember last year? I guess because of the baseball stadium tour the dates came out in drips and draps.

I felt like I was 9 years old on Christmas eve.

what bothers me isn't on the list. It's the fact that people are putting more effort into complaining about everything this year rather than focusing on the positives. It's not what being a parrothead is about. I guess sometimes people kind of miss that.
