Another Parrotthead is Born!!!

Post by lookingat40 »

At 12:57 am last night, my son Lucas Benjamin Carroll (a big name for a little guy, but that's what he gets for giving his parents lots of unexpected free time to wait and think about his arrival) squeezed his way into this world...Some may remember my wife and I having a mis-carriage last May...Luke made his arrrival full of suspense....breaking his water 3 weeks ago and arriving 6 weeks early...but he's 4 pounds and 5 oz., eyes wide open...and full of life...I wanted to name him Patrick Tillman after the NFL player who gave up millions to join the army but my wife balked at that...However, Luke shows up on St. Patricks day to show he knows drama and how to get his Dad's point across.... My grandma also died 8 years ago to the day so he has brought joy to what had became a sad day...Watching his birth was truely amazing...what can I say...He has the whole world before him and I guess taking a lot of our sleep with him...but that I will gladly give up...Turning 39 this June just got a lot younger and now my motto has never resonated more true...there is "Fever in the funkhouse, Now!."

Congratulations!!!
It was a pleasure and a hell of an evening
Truly was our night to win
But the authorities insist on my leaving
Take care my American friend

Congrats!!
Well I’m a tidal pool explorer
From the days of my misspent youth
I believe that down on the beach
Where the seagulls preach
Is where the Chinese buried the truth...

Congrats!!!! Our new baby Gianna is six weeks old now, and she is more fun all the time! And I will be 50 this year, so I know what you mean about getting instantly younger. Enjoy this time.

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar
