The Cowboys have their logo painted at midfield. A few years ago when Owens was still with San Francisco, he scored a touchdown and ran to midfield to celebrate on the Cowboys logo. I think he did it twice in the same game.phjrsaunt wrote:What did he do? (I don't follow football much, except for "my" team)ragtopW wrote:after what he did in Texas??? Yes, TO did run out to the big star in the middle of the field for his touch down celebrations. The second time some Cowboy knocked him on his butt. I got suckerd into playing fantasy football a few years back and that’s where “Tequila Revenge” came from. (Either too much tequila or not enough) This year, the TR traded to get TO, two weeks before the Eagles suspended him. KILLED MY SEASON!!phjrsaunt wrote:Tacky, tacky, tacky.LIPH wrote:The Cowboys have their logo painted at midfield. I disagree with the fans part of it. People that i know(my aunt) that have been die hard fans of the Cowboys since the early 70's are furious that we picked him up. but..........on the other hand, there are a lot of fans who at first will hate this, but when we start winning, they will jump back on the band wagon. I for one haven't really rooted for the Cowboys after Jimmy Johnson lefttequilatom wrote:Parcell and TO.......Interesting Combination!!!As far as the fans......they will accept him with open arms!!

TO’s a jerk (pick your own explicative) be now he’s our jerk. Once Bledsoe hits TO for a few long TD’s and the Boys win a few in a row, it will be like the good ol’ days of Troy to Michael. Personally, I’m not a Cowboy fan and never will be. But right now, they look pretty darn tough in their division.

The Cowboys are only "America's Team" in their own Jerry Jones ego inflated minds. I'm so tired of hearing this phrase as if its gospel. Most of the country does not feel that way about the Cowboys. The Cowboys, like it or not, are America's Team (certainly when it comes to football). TO does not deserve to be playing for America's Team
Reminds me of Jerry Jones television commercial where he says to the camera "If you were like me, you too would have a hot tub shaped like Texas Stadium".
Every time I see that $#@& commercial I want scream at the TV .... "OH YEAH !!! Well I've got FIVE TOILETS shaped like Texas Stadium pal! Oval shaped. Hole in the roof! Big friggin' deal!!!"
There now. I feel much better.
note to TikiTom ..... don't take that personally ... I'm a lifelong Redskins fan .... so I'm required to say these things.

I love the conflict between fans of different NFC East teams.
No offense taken... I'm sure the arrogance of many Cowboys fans can be very grating
Wishin' every month of the year could be June
