I was one of the lucky ones. 2 of us working the computers and phone and finally got through on one of the computers at about 9:08. Got 5 seats together in section 8L. Took 3 attempts on the computer that finally got through. First 2 times it came back "nothing available". I have yet to pull anything else up since.

should i even bother trying anymore? ugh
I dont think there were even many available. I have gotten tickets to other shows that had a much higher demand. You can tell there is a high demand when you cant even get on the page to search for the tickets. every try i was able to get to the page to search for tickets.. just never came up with any. Well, congrat's to those that did get tickets! maybe you should also play the lottery - seems today is your lucky day!

Figure this one out. I'm at work on a new computer with high speed connection and get shut out. My husband's at home on a computer that's one step up from a Tandy with dial up connection and gets two tickets in 9R. Mortal man will never understand the mysterious ways of Ticket Bastard.

Jones Beach Tickets

Post by Beachbum#3 »

It is not so much ticketmaster that is at fault it is the venue Jones Beach. I was lucky enough to SCORE some tickets at an actual ticket master today. Number four in line and I end up in the upper deck (no complaints at least I am in), but if you go on line to Jones Beach / Tommy Hilfger site there is a link that brings you to a site that is selling the tickets at more than price value. They also have links to cheap tickets sites - but by no means are they cheap! Total Bulls..t! Out of 30 people on line today - only nine people got tickets. I feel real; bad for those who got shafted today.

Jimmy it is time to step up and get involved. Your fans deserve better than this. Hell I know you do not need anymore responsibility on your plate - but maybe you should take over the ticket selling tickets for your shows! Just an idea????? :( [/img]

Glad they got tickets. Yea that's what I want. Be shut out so that company can make money. Especially from out of state. No thanks. Links like this should be removed from BN.

im just shocked an amazed at the amount of tickets appearing on sites like ebay, stubhub, and tickets now. i mean there are pages and pages of people selling tickets. do any real fans ever get tickets to shows w/o travelling down one of these avenues? in the end the only people we can blame is ourselves, the concert goers. these scalpers know, that especially w/ an act like jimmy people will pay anything. i know its unrealistic but if fans stopped buying from scalpers then maybe things will change. i just dont get why its illegal to sell tickets outside a venue in the parking lot, but over the net its perfectly fine and you can raise the tickets to whatever price you want.
